"We found this in the Rick Steves book. We ended up looking at 3 rooms and found the street side room to be the largest with a great view of the entrance to old town. Everything is walking distance, parking is on the street right below the room and costs about 8 euro a day. You can park a 10 minute walk away for free. The room was quiet with 2 sets of windows and a set of shutters. The wi-fi was fast and right in the room. The pool and garden area was beautiful and the owners a delight. A grocery store, cafe and old town just across the street."

"Does everything the brand should. Spacious and comfortable room with a little extra investment in style. Convenient location for railway station, city centre and attractions. All offered at an incredibly good price. However air conditioning was either switched off or not working and we really could have done with it on a very hot evening. Seems an odd situation when the facility is there. Didn’t get as comfortable a sleep as we could have done and this brings my rating done."

"I have never stayed at a hotel that had a more beautiful, peaceful setting than this one, with lawns sloping down to the river Tarn and large trees cradling the vista. Our room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a sliding door and balcony overlooking the lawns and river. I got a kick out of the artsy twisted-metal light fixture in the corner. (Two very minor quibbles: the door to the toilet didn't shut completely, and the sliding door to the balcony had no curtain, only a metal shutter.) The dining room and other public spaces were also simple, lovely, and focused on the gorgeous grounds. Didn't want to leave!"
