"Just spent a night at the ibis Alençon right in the town centre on Place Auguste Poulet-Malassis. Perfect location — you can walk everywhere: the beautiful basilica is 4 minutes away, shops, restaurants and the Halle au Blé market square are on your doorstep, and the train station is only a 10-minute stroll. The room was typical ibis: compact but well-designed, with a really comfortable bed that gave me an excellent night’s sleep. Laminate flooring felt cleaner than old carpet, the bathroom was functional with good hot water and powerful shower. Free Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful — the night receptionist even went out of her way when we had a minor issue. Breakfast is a highlight: fresh scrambled eggs and sausages cooked to order, decent selection of pastries, fruit and cheese. Good value for the price."

"A group of 6 of us stayed at Le Hussard for two nights, using it as a base to attend the MotoGP at Le Mans. Le Hussard has a 2 star rating, but should be regarded as a high 2 stars. The building is a little tired, but our rooms were clean and beds comfortable, being freshly made up the following morning. The hotel proprietor was the perfect host and he could not have done more for us. Breakfasts were served at whatever time we requested, the bread and croissants were the freshest I've had in a hotel, and plentiful coffee was provided to whatever our preferred tastes. In terms of value for money, this hotel is hard to beat. We're already considering next year."

"This hotel is a little gem! It's clean and tidy with well presented rooms and modern bathrooms... With very good showers!! The proprietor is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to help... The family are also very sweet and extremely polite! We will definitely be stopping there again on our trips between UK and Spain."

"Bezpieczny parking był dla nas niezbędny, a to zostało zapewnione tutaj, za darmo. Zameldowanie było łatwe, przyjemny człowiek na recepcji był również w stanie polecić pobliską restaurację, którą używaliśmy, i miał uroczy posiłek. Nasz pokój był duży z udogodnieniami do produkcji herbaty/ kawy. Łóżko było wygodne i duże. mieliśmy spacer w prysznicu, ciśnienie wody było dobre i woda była gorąca. Lubię wyciskane butelki mydła na ścianie, ponieważ zawsze jest mnóstwo! Śniadanie było miłe, nie było gorącej żywności dostępne, ale mnóstwo wszystkiego i nie było ciśnienia do jedzenia i iść. Piękny jadalnia. Zostaliśmy tylko jedną noc, aby złamać długą podróż, ale polecam ten hotel i pobyć ponownie."
