"The hotel is located at the northernmost end of town, making it perfect for self-drive travelers. It's convenient to drive into town for meals, and you can park in the free parking lot by the river! The hotel offers various recreational facilities, including tennis courts, a golf course, and a small outdoor pool. However, it's difficult to find meals nearby, so it's best to eat in town! The room was high up, offering a great view of the castle and town, especially at sunset, when the view overlooking the entire town is breathtaking! The room was older, but reasonably well-maintained and clean! The breakfast was very average. There were no vegetables, and the fruit was unpalatable. The bread, ham, and coffee were okay, but I wouldn't recommend finishing the meal if it wasn't cheap!"

"Wonderful hotel/B&B. We were warmly welcomed into Madame’s home, which is beautifully decorated. Fantastic room and huge bathroom. The double bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fresh croissant, pain au chocolat and bread plus delicious extras. Great location for exploring Amboise on foot. Highly recommend"

"Very clean and welcoming guest house. Our room and in-suite bathroom were comfortable and modern, and we had access to a small kitchen. Located on a large island in the middle of the Loire River and a ten minute walk from the shopping and restaurant streets in Amboise. Also just a 15 - 20 minute walk to Clos Luce, Leonardo Da Vinci's home, which is also highly recommended. "

"Lovely B&B on the outskirts of Amboise about a 30 min walk to the centre. We stayed 1 night en route to Caen. Lovely welcome from the host and very comfortable quiet room. It was up very steep wooden stairs so wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Lovely breakfast."

"Unsanitary room... Defective bedding... Unpleasant bathroom and what can we say about the atmosphere of the room.... Gloomy... In addition you spend a terrible night in a bed soaked in humidity.... The concept of sleeping in a cave room is not to end up with bronchitis or a respiratory allergy... Many lodgings exist with extractors.... Here the rooms are equipped with dehumidifiers... Which do not work since they are full of a few hours... Absolutely avoid unless you want to spend an evening in a low quality bed... Soaked in humidity and reeking of mold and saltpeter. It must be stipulated that you will sleep without any external security since the establishment remains open all night.... Good luck...."

"Beautiful, luxurious hotel with impeccable service. Julian, Nina and Gilles, manager, could not have been more helpful. Celebrating our 50th anniversary, decided to splurge here. Breakfast in room was awesome! Loved the location, walking to dinner each night. Town bakery, Paul, was wonderful. Hotel arranged taxi from train station. Room 14 was huge and luxurious. Definitely stay again/"

"What a beautiful place this is to stay if you are visiting the area or just passing through on your travels through France. Your hosts Aude is French and her husband Rob is English and they are very welcoming. The rooms are delightful, we stayed in the main house on the first floor and it was very spacious and oozed luxury! Rob and Aude have worked extremely hard (and still do on a daily basis) to make your stay very comfortable and relaxed. They even take time out from their very busy schedule to entertain you in an evening with wine and nibbles which was lovely and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The property is located in a very quiet area and all you can hear when you wake in the morning is the birds. Breakfast is served in the main house and break, pastries and preserves is served on a daily basis. I would highly recommend this beautiful place to stay and would rate is 5* on every aspect. Well done Aude and Rob, you've got everything spot on and we loved our stay with you both, keep up all our good (and hard) work ss I'm sure you must please every guest that stays with you."
