Hotel Little Silver

"Little Silver is a small boutique property nested among tall trees. It is located away from the market and on the other bank of Lidder river. You can see the water flowing from the hotel but can't reach there easily by walk. Its an ideal location if you want to stay away from hustle bustle of the market and have a car to drop you. You can have a refreshing walk though wilderness of pine and deodar forest or sit in the garden with a cup of tea. There are about 8 rooms most of them are specious one. Rooms are completely carpeted, with king size beds. Attached bath has geyser and all amenities. The size of the toilet is a bit small though. Also toilet floor is at a substantial height compared room floor, this may be inconvenient for elderly and children. You need to climb steep steps to reach your room. These small issues will melt away with courteous behaviour of the staff. There is regular power cut but light etc. has generator/inverter backup. The manager is always available over phone and also in person most of the time. Their staffs are very courteous and helpful especially a young boy named Mudaswar. The cook will prepare testy food and cooking style can be modulated as per your choice. Overall we had a great experience during our 2 nights stay. One can do staycation as internet facility is amazingly good."

"Hotel Service was very pathetic. They have fixed time for Hot water (5:30 AM to 9:30 AM). They don’t have strong network of WiFi due to that we have faced lot of issues. Regarding food - As per my opinion road side Maggi was good compare to their Dinner and breakfast. It’s not worth to pay and stay over there."

Hotel Bombay Palace

"After a terrible experience at Riverside Resorts Inn in Pahalgam, our travel agent moved us to Bombay Palace. Arriving at 11 am, the manager was incredibly polite and efficient. When we requested a cleaner blanket, it was promptly provided. The hotel's central heating system was a blessing. Our pony ride to Baisaran Valley was exhilarating and full of emotions. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel were delightful. Overall, Bombay Palace turned our trip around with its excellent service and amenities. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Pahalgam."
