"This was a perfect stop over in Angers. The hotel is extremely convenient for the station and I received a warm welcome. The receptionist returned last year from 23 years living in Wales, so her English was very good. Celine was very helpful in advising me where to eat and what to see and do during my short visit to Angers. The room was very clean and had everything I needed. It was comfortable and I slept well . Breakfast was continental and featured a variety of fresh fruits including fresh peaches, cereals, fresh bread and a variety of fresh croissants, hard boiled eggs, ham and cheese. There was filter coffee which was good. I was very satisfied with it all and would certainly recommend this as a comfortable, well located no-frills hotel."

"Choose this site as a two night stop over en route further south. Nice small, quiet site close to lake and only 15 minute cycle to city centre. Plenty of walking paths around lake and along river. Stayed in a cabin. The positioning of most of the cabins is cleverly done to give each maximum private from surrounding ones so you get the feeling of having much more space. Our 2 bedroom cabin is functional, beds ok, gas hob, microwave, fridge, sink, coffee machine, tv (french stations only) shower, separates toilet and heating. On under cover decking, table and chairs and deck chairs. No toaster, no grill or oven. On site, swimming pool, pizza take away (only open July & august!) bar, (only open also July august), no on site shop, so coming in June basically nothing on site. Supermarket less than a mile away. Also on site bike hire 13 euro, car charging facility, chargeable, about half the cost of fuel, in car park by reception. Bread can be ordered from reception by 7pm to collect and pay the following morning. Overall a nice place to spend a night or two and we would use again."

"Excellent hotel: ideally located opposite the castle and a stone's throw from the city center. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. The little touches are very appreciable: a small bottle of water/person and an excellent square of chocolate. Finally, the kindness and professionalism of the staff members are exceptional. They show real interest in their customers. And all this with a smile. Perfect."
