"******* showed this as a 5 star hotel and it is definitely not. I think the pictures of the apartment must have been taken ages ago. It was dark for one thing and our apartment was on the first floor. We walked 10 minutes from train station and you go straight to old town. We have visited Annecy before many years ago. There is no one at a front desk and you need to call someone 30 min. upon arrival so someone can meet you to give the keycards. You need to use a code to get in the front door and elevator. The front door needs to be push hard to open. I guess I didn’t see the spiral staircase to go up to the bedroom in the photos when making reservations. Luckily it was an en-suite. There was also a toilet next to kitchen. We enjoyed fresh fruit from the farmers market the next day, I bought enough to last us 5 days. The kitchen sink was so small (I mean it was 7” wide x14” long). It was difficult to wash your plates. Our next hotel in Switzerland was a 5 star hotel and the huge difference was very noticeable. I would not recommend this place."

"Perfect stay, but overpriced for what it is. We didn't have shower gel; the bottle was empty. And for breakfast, it's a real shame to serve all that cold cuts and cheese, especially since some people don't eat meat or pork and find it bothersome. Luckily, your employee was very attentive. But overall, the service is still mediocre for the price... too much noise at night, and in the lake-facing room, it was impossible to sleep... otherwise, the location is perfect, and the parking lot across the street is great and partially covered by the hotel."

"We booked a room in this hotel in Annecy via *******, and the listing clearly stated that the room had air conditioning. Upon arrival at 11:30 PM (as previously agreed), we found out that there was no air conditioning at all, despite it being explicitly mentioned in the booking. We messaged the receptionist, who admitted in writing that our room did not have A/C, and blamed us, saying we “didn’t book properly.” This was completely unacceptable, especially considering we had a screenshot of the booking that clearly included air conditioning. We contacted ******* support, and they confirmed the room was supposed to have A/C. Yet the hotel refused to provide any refund or alternative solution. Earlier that day, we had informed the hotel we would arrive around 10:30 PM. The receptionist simply replied asking us to message him 30 minutes before arrival – which we did. However, when we arrived, he complained about our late check-in, even though we followed his exact instructions. I never had a problem like that in any hotel or AirBnB I stayed in in my entire life. This was a deeply disappointing experience: false advertising, unprofessional attitude, and zero customer care. Not recommended for anyone who expects transparency, reliability, or basic respect as a guest. We will continue to ask for a refund via the best Consumer Rights channels available."
