"The room was very clean, and the deposit was refunded super promptly! I checked out that day and received the refund that same evening! It also came equipped with kitchenware, and the location is excellent, just a three to four-minute walk from the main street. Award-winning ice cream, a Chinese restaurant, and a supermarket are all within a five-minute walk. I highly recommend everyone try the Wonderful Restaurant! The Cantonese chef's cooking is delicious! The fried rice and stir-fries have that amazing 'wok hei' (wok-fired aroma), and the proprietress's beef brisket rice is generous and tasty! I also tried the ginger and scallion kangaroo, which was incredibly tender!"

"Just three cottages, we had number 1, tucked away just above the Great Ocean Road just a few kilometres East of Apollo Bay. Easy to find. Superbly equipped cottage with covered verandah. The internal window seat is an ideal spot to lie back and watch the waves and the world go by. Be prepared for the steep start to the driveway straight off the Great Ocean Road. It’s not a problem but first time when you’re not sure what to expect it can catch you out. The cottages are really well appointed with all you require. No oven but a gas barbecue on the verandah and microwave in the kitchen. Take a walk further up the drive at dusk to hopefully see koalas in the trees. We went both nights we stayed and saw one each time. Magical experience."
