"There is a mountain road to walk in the Douro Valley. The river and mountain views are beautiful. The hotel only has five rooms. You must check in before 7 o'clock. There is a swimming pool and the scenery is very beautiful. The only thing is that there is no elevator or ramp and it is difficult to drag luggage."

"We booked our place via phone and the staff was very helpful giving us the best option for a family with baby. We had a big standard room (was basically a small whole house) with a garden view- charming and cozy. The price was very reasonable. Alex welcomed us and explained everything. We had an issue with the mattress and he found a resolution within 10 minutes - really fascinating service! The fruit gardens are open for the guests which is another big plus! We picked up from the first cherries. :) Our recommendation is towards the breakfast - could be great to have some vegetables and some variety in the different days. The mini croissants were marvellous though. Would be also great if there was a restaurant or a vending machine for essentials like water and packaged food for example. It is true the village is very close but sometimes you want to just rest and not go back in the car. However we would visit this place again. :) Thank you"
