"The Tschuggen Grand is an outstanding hotel; we were in a suite on the top floor with a stunning view. The staff was very friendly and competent, although some of them had just started their first season with the hotel. The pools are excellent and a perfect alternative when it is snowing outside. The dinner in the Grand Restaurant deserves a special mentioning; we chose three courses and each of them was outstanding. Seeing the bill of the meal was also a pleasant surprise: prices are really reasonable in view of the quality you get. Last but not least: the private cable car of the hotel granting direct access to the slopes is an extra hard to find elsewhere."

"I had a great stay at the Hotel Sourcehof in Arosa! The price-performance ratio is simply unprecedented. The view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking and invites to stay. Breakfast was excellent – a large selection, fresh products and everything you need to make a perfect start in the day. I would like to emphasise especially the uncomplicated self-in and check-out, both which have worked quickly and smoothly – ideal for stress-free arrival and exit. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was unsmooth, making the stay even more pleasant. In total, a wonderful hotel that I will definitely recommend. I'll be happy to come back!"

"Like what people said “Don’t judge the book by its cover!” The Valsana Hotel in Arosa From the moment you arrive, the vibe and atmosphere at the hotel is welcoming and relaxed. The rooms are beautiful, with interiors of the highest quality and a thoughtful design that combines comfort and elegance. Of particular note is my favourite corner - the colourful armchair and so instagrammable (a little piece of paradise) complete with a lounge area, armchairs, a table and balcony. The culinary offerings are equally outstanding, with a selection of high-quality and sustainable dishes served in the hotel's restaurant. The staff also deserves praise for their friendliness and professionalism."

"We stayed at the Sunstar Arosa for two nights with our company. The room was clean and tidy. The wellness area was beautiful, spacious, and diverse, as was the indoor pool. The service, both at reception and in the restaurant, was completely out of step with the price range the hotel claims to be. The staff is untrained and doesn't know how to serve guests properly. Unfortunately, there was no trace of professionalism; everything was just done randomly. Serious errors occurred that shouldn't happen in a 4-star hotel. The 80-franc red wine was poured into a white wine glass, the plates were somehow placed in front of the guests, and orders were taken incorrectly. The food was mediocre at best; no course was special or top-notch. Everything tasted average, sometimes bland, and was out of season. We were also surprised when we, as 55-year-olds, were addressed with "Du" (formal). This is appropriate in a youth hostel, but in a hotel in this price range, we found it disturbing and completely inappropriate. We don't believe this concept will be successful in the long term. In short, the food and staff don't match the price level of a 4-star hotel. Therefore, we wouldn't return to this hotel personally."

"An excellent hotel set in the mountains near Arosa. Good regular bus transport from outside the hotel with access to to the mountain area for walking and cable car access to the Weisshorn Staff excellent - friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room very clean and spacious with balcony overlooking the mountains. Sauna, steam room and gym clean and well equipped. Breakfast and 3 course evening meals very good. A wonderful week's stay. Highly recommended"
