"To tell it immediately: I liked the one-week stay in the Ascona Lodge and I can recommend this accommodation in full! By the central and still quiet location – in a quiet side street next to the school sports place – you are walking within a few minutes' walk from the beautiful Ascona walk. The hotel was apparently completely restored just recently - and it was very beautiful, modern, thoughtful and worthy. I had a bright DZ in 2. OG to the south with small balcony and small bathroom – from size enough and tastefully furnished. I particularly liked the public spaces in the ground floor – the large kitchen in which the morning buffet is built and the seats in the style of a lounge in which you can take breakfast. The organization of breakfast is thought up to in small details, the food offered of quality and selection excellent - including very delicious sauce and cheese specialities, very delicious bread and bread varieties, Several yoghurts and orange juice that you can press yourself freshly. Another point: until 17:00, you can make free coffee specialities in the lounge. The staff is very friendly, premature and helpful, for example, with questions about business in the beautiful landscape. It is also highlighted the free bike rental of tour bikes - I used – or cheaply to borrow e-bikes every day. There is also a small garden with sufficient bed and small, heated pool. Conclude: I enjoyed the stay in the Ascona Lodge and I will certainly come back!"

"Short vacation with the dog. The staff was very friendly throughout. Even though the dog wasn't allowed in the restaurant, to my surprise he was allowed on the terrace, which was great. The staff there were also very accommodating and friendly. The room was as described and shown online. The view was really great (especially when the weather was nice). The surroundings were very beautiful, quiet and secluded. The shuttle to Ascona worked great too. Very nice atmosphere"

"This was a superb and very comfortable hotel. We were upgraded to a family room with balcony and lake views although the extra space included a room with bunk beds which we did not need. The hotel has had a total refurbishment in the past few years and is contemporary but not too modern. Service was top notch. Although there was a wedding on the night we arrived our small group ate in the restaurant and had outstanding food. Superb breakfast."

"Very confortable hotel smaller extremely rooms well equipped with balcony lots of closet drawer space and luggage stowaways, good shower, bed excellent restaurant we take half pension fabulous breakfast and evenning in the beautiful Garden had garden and some lake view stayed in all types of rooms in past have been multiple times. I like this hotel a lot , nice pool garden service excellent service and once again enjoy being here in Ascona at this hotel free parking limited availability. They could not be more accomodating clean spotless environment and a short walk to the main street . Never used my Ticino Ticket good for transportation through the entire Canton and discounts."

"Hotel is located in very good location. Little hotel with careful staff. Breakfast was very good with a nice garden restaurant. Rooms without air conditioning, which can be rather a little pushing in summer. For that, clean and the rooms size is ok. Ideal to spend a few days in the Swiss sunstube."
