"The hotel is located on Mount Soun, quite a distance from the city center and tram station, requiring a long bus or taxi ride. It's worth noting that the hotel doesn't offer a shuttle service, and the shuttle bus to the mountain closes very early (the last bus departs at 5 PM, and there are no more buses until around 6:30 PM), so be sure to plan your return trip accordingly. The interior atmosphere is quite different from the exterior; it's very Zen-like and quiet. I especially loved the singing bowls in the hotel lobby. Besides the hotel restaurant, there's a bar and tea room on the first floor. There are wagashi (Japanese sweets) and freshly brewed tea available at the tea room entrance. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very soundproof, with private onsen (hot spring bath). Breakfast is kaiseki style, quite delicious, but the portions are huge. Overall, it's a place you can have high expectations for. So far..."
