"Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu is a truly comfortable and relaxing ryokan that made our stay very enjoyable. The staff were attentive and welcoming from the moment we arrived by car, and they promptly helped unload our luggage and delivered it to the hotel. They also assisted with carrying our luggage back to the car during check-out. The room was well-equipped, clean, and very hygienic, and the high-floor view was wide and beautiful. Breakfast and dinner buffet were both satisfying, with delicious food and a good variety of choices. The onsen was also impressive, with two levels of outdoor baths that are alternated between men and women at different times, allowing guests to enjoy both. The water park-style onsen area was a bit less impressive, but overall, this ryokan deserves a very high rating. The official site highlights its open-air onsen, private baths in all rooms, and well-regarded dining, which matches the strong overall experience here"

"Nie mogłem się narzekać na ten hotel. Czuliśmy się zaszczycony pobyt w tym hotelu. Byliśmy ciepło mile widziani i pokierowani do salonu na check-in. Pokój jest bardzo przestronny z oddzielną toaletą i łazienką. Pokój oferuje prywatny gorący prysznic, który bardzo nam się podoba, zwłaszcza dla nas, którzy mogą nie być wygodne idzie do publicznej łazienki. Chociaż hotel oferuje usługi pick-up z dworca kolejowego, to nadal nie jest wygodnie położony. Zalecałbym, jeśli to możliwe, wynajem samochodu i jazdę całą drogę do tego hotelu."

"It's a lovely old style ryokan, tucked away in the mountain side of Hakone. Absolutely loved our stay here, enjoyed the bath house too. The property has lots of character and charm. It's a sort of place where time stays still."

"Pokoje hotelowe są bardzo japońskie i czyste. Personel recepcji był bardzo przyjazny. Śniadanie składało się z trzech małych bułeczek, jogurtu, sałatki, kawy i soku, co było dla nas więcej niż wystarczające. Yunessun Free Pass: Znajduje się około 7 minut spacerem od hotelu, było fajnie zabrać tam dzieci. Są tam strefy strojów kąpielowych i nudystów. Strefa strojów kąpielowych ma dwie duże zjeżdżalnie na świeżym powietrzu, które były świetną zabawą. Kolacja była pyszna przy grillu na trzecim piętrze. Dojazd do hotelu: Wsiądź do górskiej kolejki do stacji Kowakudani. Jest strome podejście, więc jeśli masz bagaż, zaleca się nadanie go do hotelu ze stacji; noszenie go samemu jest bardzo męczące. W pobliżu hotelu jest również przystanek autobusowy o nazwie Horaien Station, który wydawał mi się bliższy. Autobus jedzie do portu Hakone i jedzie pirackim statkiem."

"Fukiya is an old ryokan on the hill in Yugawara village. Water of Natural hot spring seems to be active and healing. Ryokan itself old but really good maintained. The place is extremely clean! Every tiny detail is cared of, you feel like it is titanic part of work to provide this level of cleanness. The food. This was the best food among visited ryokans. It is really the highest level. The chef-cook should be given Michelin or whatever, it is just unbelievable how everything was presented and cooked. All the food is the highest quality, absolutely delicious. I consider myself as demanding client, they exceeded my expectations regarding the food. The were a few things for improvement, though… I did not like the fact that there is no restaurant zone and all the food is brought to your room. They start preparing around 7 am, coming into your room and loudly announcing “good morning!” and the appearance of staff was never quiet ). Being after long night flight, this was a challenge. They close baths from 9:30 am to 2 pm, which limits your ability to use Onsen , even though it is the best time for guests to enjoy hot spring. The lady, who prepared everything in the room was nice but way too pushing and loud and a bit chaotic, we felt like we were being kicked out of the hotel (the lady even was running pushing us and our luggage out of the hotel 🤪), that they forgot to put our bags in taxi. Finally, we arrived to the train station without luggage and were upset that our visit finished that way"

"Fantastic location next to Gora Station with easy access to Gotemba premium outlets via bus& Cablecar to Lake Ashi. Kaiseki breakfast and dinners were thoughtfully planned and different each meal. So many free snacks and food at different timings. Private outdoor onsen was wonderful as well. Note: you have to queue for any of the 3 huts. Only thing we didn’t like was having to shower outdoors and the dated toto bidet. Other than that, perfect 2 night stay at Hakone."

"Niesamowity hotel, zaledwie kilka kroków od dworca kolejowego. Personel jest pomocny, a pokój jest WSPANIAŁY!!! NIESAMOWITY! Jestem pod wrażeniem, podobnie jak udogodnienia. Onsen na świeżym powietrzu jest niesamowity, bardzo relaksujący i daje zupełnie inną atmosferę niż onsen w środku."
