The wooden interiors harmonized with the mountain views outside, and the warm waters of the onsen slowly revitalized my body and soul, returning me to this land born of volcanoes. The dinner was a refined conversation with the local culture. The 'Akaushi' (red beef) dishes were meticulously presented, complemented by seasonal ingredients and beautiful tableware. A visit to Kamishikimi Kumanoza Shrine was like stepping into a poem, with light filtering through stone lanterns and the trees, creating a serene atmosphere. "Although we arrived a little early, we were able to check in without any problems. The staff were very friendly, from welcoming us to showing us to our room. The food also used plenty of local ingredients, and the vegetables from their own farm were especially delicious. The staff seemed to be foreigners, but they spoke fluent Japanese and were very friendly, which I thought was wonderful."
