Hotele w Ballarat

On the main road into the city from Geelong, 2 min walk to Coles and about 5 min drive into the city. Room was clean and good size with comfy chairs and small table for dining or work. Had Austar which was nice but really hard to figure out due to 3 different remotes, the main remote being in Chinese so that kinda made simply watching free to air a real drama.

Stayed 4 nights in a superior suite. The room is 39sq m which is reasonably spacious given it has two double beds, a sofa, a small kitchen table with 4 chairs and a writing bench along one wall. It comes with the usual kitchen appliances, microwave, small cook top with oven and fridge. Tea and coffee sachets are provided. If self catering the food preparation area is quite limited as the appliances take up all the kitchen bench. There is a wall heater and an air conditioner. The beds were reasonably comfortable. There is no safe in the room. The room is comfortable enough although there is no balcony or windows that can be fully opened so unless the door is kept open fresh air is limited. The place is very convenient to downtown and the station. A stroll to downtown is around 10 minutes. One issue was the noise on the Friday night - whether it was noisy people in the next door pub or noisy Friday night guests away for the weekend I don't know but there were some rowdy types disturbing the peace. I'd stay here again but probably only during the week.

This place is 5/5. Fantastic location, super clean, great staff, big open room, lots of natural light and comfy bed. My only negative comment is the AC control panel light is SOOOOO bright, it lights up the entire room at night!

I felt that the room rate was cheap for the quality of the hotel. The room I stayed in was pretty clean. The location was very good and convenient.

The rooms are clean and spacious, with a queen and single bed provided it is a good set up for a family. We stayed one night after spending the day at Sovereign Hill. Also has a small indoor heated pool, perfect for my son to swim around in. Owners were welcoming, which topped off an enjoyable stay in Ballarat. The following day we spent some time around the Lake and checked out the paddle boats and look out at the top of Mount Buninyong, which was another highlight for my son.

So we stayed here for one night. We were wanting seperate rooms for kids and us, wanted a pool and/or spa bath. It has all. We had a family room. The staff were really friendly when booking, checking in, checking out and needing assistance. As soon as we checked it we wanted to jump in the pool (indoor heated pool) and saw it was covered up. We called to see if it was closed, and they said no they just like to limit it to one family at a time so he opened it up for us. It wasn't deep, appx 1.35m. It was warm clean. It had a few chairs and tables inside to leave your stuff. We were able to get pool towels from reception. It would have been good have a toilet in there, instead of having to go back to room (we were on top level). The room was clean and neat. TVs worked, air con worked which was great. Beds comfy. Had a desk, couch and dining table. Had a kettle, toaster and microwave with a mini bar fridge. Unfortunately no bowels, big plates or Cutlery. So it made things a little difficult. Didn't have a bench where you could do all that, just a cupboard where the kettle and all that were kept. We have a special needs child and her meals are very particular so having some space to make these would have been good. The bathroom was clean and big. The spa bath was big and comfortable. It was nice to relax in there. Maybe a small side table next to it would have been good. Overall it was a nice place to stay for a very reasonable price. I would stay here again.

The hotel has a long history, and you can feel the special cultural atmosphere as soon as you enter it. The elevator door still needs to be opened and closed manually, like some shooting scenes in the movie. The night of the stay, the front desk brother was warm, the service was thoughtful, the explanation was very patient and detailed, and said that the design of our passports was cool, from the color of the cover to the design of the first page. The dinner was eaten at the restaurant on the first floor that night, and they recommended red curry fish, which tasted very good. The hotel room is clean and tidy, the single bed room is booked, the heating is comfortable, the bathroom has a hot towel rack, which is very comfortable.

It's two or three kilometers away from the city center. It's like a resort. There is a reception at the entrance. It takes three to five minutes to walk in. The cottage, the first-floor bungalows in the townhouse, and free parking next to it. It was enough for three people. It was not so crowded. The door was open outdoors. It was not the same as staying in a hotel. It was good. You could sit at the door and watch the stars. It felt quieter than the hotel and no neighbors disturbed. Close to Shufenshan Gold Mine Town. If you want to go out for dinner, you have to go outside the yard to find it. On the walk, you do n’t have to go out.

So many positive things to say about Sovereign Park but the 2 memorable standouts which will have us returning would have to be, the SERVICE and INDOOR HEATED POOL & SPA! The booking & check-in process were both so easy. Jen served us throughout our stay, she was immediately warm and welcoming. After checking out and having mentioned we were going to explore the Wildlife Park nearby, we had a call from Jen about some precious plush toys our daughter had left behind. She knew how important it was to get it back to us so she wasted no time in contacting us before we made our way back home. The family room was comfy & cosy, clean and included all the amenities needed. The kids had the best time in the pool, spa & sauna. Mummy even got some time to spend in the gym, nothing flashy but complete & practical. Thanks so much & keep up the great service. We were welcomed into the park and made our way to the cabin, first impressions certainly last. The holiday park is not like the pictures first up, so do your research before confirming a visit to see if it is something you are happy with. There was bits of our stairs missing and rubbish on the verandah (half a dozen open sugar packets and a toy of some sort) - also, an ashtray. For a family unit, a non smoking one, who has ashtrays anymore? It was dirty too, something to keep the toddler away from. Upon entry the cabin was suitable, neat, clean and tidy and suitable for our needs. The room with two bunks in it was VERY small. If there really was FOUR children in there, they would kill each other after a night or two. Upon further inspection, the cleaners really ignored a significant portion of the property. There were multiple lolly wrappers throughout, a pegged up chip packet in the wardrobe, empty chocolate milk bottle under the couch. NOTE: upon exit, we informed the staff and they said next time to tell them straight away and they will send the cleaners back, point taken, however it should never be in that state in the first place. TOILET: Missing a button and the pressure was terrible, it didnt flush everything down all the time.. (kinda ew). THE PARK: **The Park was smaller than first thought, felt a little old and dated and quite cramped but did the job for a few days. **Access to the swim centre next door was easy enough, just a quick walk and a show of your cabin key to enter (not sure what you would do if you had a site?) **The games room - as many people have said, a lot was broken and didnt work. The kids still had fun playing pretend however. **No coffee machine, - everywhere advertised the coffee machine for use in the camp kitchen. This was $3 but displayed an error message on the screen. DEVESTATING. (well for me anyway). SUMMARY Ok for a few nights, check the room (if you have a cabin) is clean and provide feedback ASAP if you are not happy, staff seem happy to help. 3 Stars
