"Situated fairly close to the town center, everything in Baños can easily be reached on foot. Especially the public bathing facilities are close by. The room we stayed in was simple, but clean and had everything we needed. Refreshments are available in the kitchen and can be payed at checkout, which makes serving yourself to some drinks very easy. We didn't stay for dinner, but breakfast was excellent with a variety of warm and cold local dishes. The hosting couple, who are native / fluent in English, was very friendly and helped out with tips on where to go and what to see. 100% percent recommendation if you are not expecting a luxury hotel."

"Booked with parking included but when we got there told no because only "compact" cars are allowed and we had a minivan. This was not disclosed upon booking. Told breakfast served at 8am but it wasnt. Breakfast was never served. TV very old and small. Looked like a computer size screen. Shower took 10 minutes to get warm. Staff not at all pleasant or accommodating. Only good thing is location which is walking distance to many places. "

"Excellent service and views. The location was a bit far if you venture out daily but nothing that was unreasonable. The rooms were cheap and affordable. The hot water did go out for a few days during my stay. I would say that was the only gripe I had."

"La Casa Amarilla to wspaniały, domowy, scenic pobyt! Bettina i Darwin są wspaniałymi gospodarzami, a my czuliśmy się niesamowicie mile widziani! Bettina jest bardzo odpowiedni (i płynny w wielu językach!) i niesamowity kucharz. Świeże pieczone chleb i domowe jam na śniadanie? Absolutny sen! Darwin oferuje również wiele opcji wycieczek w Baños, więc jeśli zostaniesz tutaj, zostaw trochę miejsca w swojej trasie dla tych przygodów. Z pewnością zostaniemy tutaj ponownie!"
