"Intrigued by the reviews and the beautiful view, I was lucky enough to find an exceptional offer for this property, opting for a private chalet, with continental breakfast included in the price, for a total of around €200 (instead of €400 or even €500). € offered by other sites). Right from the start, the staff proved to be more than willing to provide us with information on the structure and the surroundings, but above all on how to reach them (considering that the complex is located approximately 660m above sea level). After checking in, which was carried out without problems and with the payment of the tourist tax (€4 for two nights), we headed to the Chalet (which is about 500m from the reception). Equipped with every comfort, the chalet was a fantastic surprise, even though the shower had a curtain (an aspect that I personally didn't appreciate much, but which doesn't affect my overall rating). Air conditioning in every room (including bathroom) and equipped kitchen (note: oven, dishwasher and microwave are missing). Breakfast is served every morning (07.30 - 10.00) at the Locanda alla Posta (not even 100 meters from the Chalets), and is plentiful (especially if consumed between 07.30 and 09.00), mainly composed of sweet, rather than savory, dishes. The structure also offers the possibility of renting bikes to discover the various wooded areas of the estate (half day: €25.00; full day: €40.00). However, during the period of stay (08-10 April) the service was not available because the bike attendant was absent. Overall, our experience was more than positive. The only sore point: the annoying presence of bedbugs which, despite the windows being closed, still managed to show up again and again without giving any respite. We will have removed about 30/35 in a whole day. We reported the problem to the reception: they apologized for the inconvenience, and the cleaning ladies proceeded (promptly, I dare say) to remove the last bedbugs, which we voluntarily left undisturbed on the kitchen curtains to "testify" to their actual presence. I recommend this structure if you want to completely disconnect from chaotic reality (and especially if you have a car to discover the surroundings)."

"Położenie jest niezwykle piękne, z szerokimi panoramicznymi widokami, w czasie naszej wizyty wczesnego maja 2026 roku, widoczne były odległe śniegowe góry. Taksówka w wysokości 20 euro do Bargi, widzi Cię na lokalnej stacji do podróży do Pisa i Lucca około 45 minut. Za kilka euro zamiast 100 euro za taksówkę i można zobaczyć więcej wsi. Zarezerwowaliśmy dostępny pokój, gdy używam wózka wózkowego, niestety pewnego dnia winda usługi została zepsuta i mniejsza winda jest maleńka. Musiałem złożyć krzesło (to tylko wystarczy duży.) Pokój jest odpowiedni z małym ekranowym kabiną zwijania w prysznicu. Powinno być to cztery i pół gwiazdki rating, osobiście myślę, że to rozciąga. Myślę, że pracownicy składają się z większości tych nagrodzonych. Pracownicy recepcji są bez wątpienia wyjątkowi, jak również personel czekający i porter, w szczególności John. Dla oceny prawie 5-gwiazdkowej części są zmęczone i zmęczone. Zasłony krzesła jadalni są wycierane i ścięte, szlafrok jest bardzo zmęczony, na śniadanie na kilka dni nie było filiżanek chińskich, ale papierowe tylko, szlafrok nie był ostry, nie mogłeś cięć brzoskwini na śniadanie, mieliśmy połowę deski jedzenie było OK, ale brakuje To jest hotel Marriot, a jeden z amerykańskich szefów był tam w czasie naszej wizyty, polerował węgiel, jak mówili. Ale jest zmęczony. Warto forsę? Byliśmy tylko na krótkim przerwie (4 dni)"

"The building and grounds are historic and beautiful. The service is excellent with the hotel staff looking to be as helpful as possible. The breakfast was what you would expect at a good Italian venue. Our room had an AC which is a must in August weather. We also got some beautiful views of the mountains from our windows. The hotel is not too far from some great hikes if you like being outdoors (about 25-35 min drive away) and is also walking distance from the main restaurant area. While we had a pleasant stay, we were surprised at how dated our room, furnishings and bathroom were. The bed was also hard. We also would have appreciated a heads up in advance that there would be a jazz concert on the grounds the night we arrived as we were quite exhausted from the trip only to find out we would be going to bed as early as we would have liked (to note the concert was free for guests so def a perk if you aren't tired and look fwd to some fun entertainment)."

"Loved this place. My wife was on a photography course ( also brilliant) but we got to enjoy the fantastic food which our American friends on the cookery school prepared for us- traditional Italian meals to suit all tastes, all under the expert guidance of jovial Rita and her team. Lovely friendly atmosphere, lots of wine, fun and friendship in this beautiful part of Tuscany."
