It was our first time at Turi Beach and the overall experience was somewhat different from Telunas. We didn’t have a good encounter in our first room. We felt an eerie presence in the room and asked for a change the next morning. In the new room, we had an issue with the hot water. The water was brown. Fortunately, house-keeping wasted no time to attend to our request. Anyway, it was an OK experience.

view was great, it’s the kind of view that you wish to wake up to every morning. private pool and the place was overall quite clean as well. buffet breakfast has a wide spread of cuisine and food (mostly local food though). the only downside is the location and the security. since the place is very far off from the city, if you were to go back late at night, the road to montigo is super dark, no street lights at all so i would recommend going back early. finding a grab to the city was always relatively hard, took quite some time. the main door of the villa is see through and not really secure so just lock your bedrooms at night :)

Batam View Beach Resort was recently refurbished, so hallways and rooms have an updated look with dark wood hues giving it a bit of modernness. The building has also been given a fresh cost of white paint, giving it a fresh feeling. The gaudy light signboard no longer adorns the main entrance. Despite the updates, the property occasionally exudes tiredness: the signage at the entrance is really dated and when we first saw it, we had some apprehension on how the experience would be (think wildness school camping). But our fears were unfounded as the entered the property: it was clean and modern enough for a comfortable stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome drink. It was a refreshing welcoming from the warm weather outside. The chairs in the restaurant were tired and the chairs were sunken a little uncomfortable to sit. It would have been if they could be updated for a more comfortable experience. Now on to the food, we had lunch, breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Lunch was pretty standard but nothing to shout about. There was rice, soup, noodle and other sides, fruits and desserts that while palatable, again were nothing to rave about. During lunch, the only weird encounter I had was with the chocolate jelly; chocolate does not do well in a jelly. Breakfast was buffet style. The staff at the entrance will ask for your room number before being let in for breakfast. It was a fuss free experience. The buffet breakfast had typical fare such as rice, noodles, porridge, bread, cereal and an egg station with the usual fare you see at breakfast. There’s a kelong within the property which serves up pretty decent seafood if you want something nearby and do not want to travel out. For dinner, as it was a team event, they set the area near the pool to be an open space buffet for dinner with a stage for the activities. While the experience was good and fun (food again was average), I cannot imagine the noise pollution for the other guests staying on the property. The party went on to the night at about 10pm, and I spotted a couple of guests coming out of their rooms to see what was happening. So, if you are staying here for leisure, something to take note of. They have a little pet / animal corner which I wanted to check out but had not time to do so We had a room on the second floor. The hallway was brightly lit and due to the recent refurbishment, it was a pleasant environment. Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a clean room with 2 beds. There was ample of space to hang clothes and a luggage space for 2 medium luggage. The closet was open, basically just a pole above the luggage space with about 6 hangers provided. Housekeeping was good, but not excellent as there a strand of long hair in one of the pillow cases, and there was a little bit of dust on the shelves. Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention is having a good advantage on location, located in the heart of Batam Center, where luxury and homey abound. It is an old hotel, but it is well maintained and it is connected to a modern life style, near local culinary and having a good entertainment with roof top bar. The staffs are giving a good hospitality and helpful. Sahid Batam Center hotel could fit for business and personal use. Over all, Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention is a good hotel to stay. We stayed as a family of 3 for 2 nights. The room was clean and neat. Check in was fast and hassle free. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location of the villa is good, walking distance to nearby seafood restaurant. Distance to shopping malls is not too far too as you can easily get a Gojek there. It is around 6km to BCS mall and A2 food court. One down side I feel was the lack of variety for the breakfast, it would be good if there is buffet spread. The music from the neighbouring cafe/pub was pretty loud till which could disturb guests who may be there to chill n relax. It didn't bother me very much probably I was tired out so slept pretty well. Overall a pleasant experience staying in this resort. Highly recommended for couples who wish to have a romantic getaway.

Here annually, because of its superb location - near a large mall, near several massage centres (my perennial favourite being Thai best), near several excellent food places (must check out Mickey Mouse 66, as well as the coffee shops in its vicinity), near several wholesale shops but they do sell individual items (fantastic branded knock-offs at fantastic prices). As for the hotel itself, rooms are large; with basic amenities and free mineral water. Concierge is reliably helpful, friendly and efficient. Receptionists (same air of sulkiness, whoever is manning the station, whatever time) and buffet breakfasts (why eat here when there are superb choices nearby) are consistently below average, whether the hotel was “Gideon” or is “Gideon by Aston”.

Very nice room and value for money for the price. Less than 10 minutes drive to Hang Nadim Airport. Highly recommended for people that are transiting for one night at Batam.

Panbil Residence Apartment is a serviced apartment connected to the main 5 star Western Premier Panbil Hotel. Most main amenities are located at the hotel, which is a more bustling area. The residence was well secured given that the Singapore Consulate General in Batam and Panbil Industries' main office was located in the same building. The residence is superb, quiet and safe. We stayed in a 3 room apartment overlooking the magnificent view of the Nature reserve. Amenities such as crockery and a baby cot can be requested upon booking and were in great condition. There was also netflix in the main bedroom. The residence is located quite a distance away from the main shopping belt, but i do not regret it for the safety and the fridge provided for breast milk storage for baby. What truly impressed us was the service standard and hospitality of the residence staff. They arranged for a driver whenever we needed one - ferry transfer, getting stuck at the deserted Kepri mall after multiple cancellations by Grab drivers, and even to send my husband's misplaced watch from the residence room to the ferry. The intercontinental breakfast every morning was wonderful and truly enjoyable. A great place to relax and unwind for a short holiday. Will stay again when in batam and recommend to anyone who is visiting. Sorry only had videos of the residence.

Hotel was mediocre. Room does not have minibar. Airconditioning works weirdly. Switched it on but cannot feel any cold air within the room. Had to switched it off and switched it on again and again to ensure it works perfectly. Heater was useless. By the time it hits the second person who wants to shower,theres only cold water. Raised it up but no difference. So didnt bother to raise it up again. In front of the hotel there was a massive construction with a lot of noise obstruction. No message was left in the room to inform us on the massive drillings that we had to face. Nevetheless, the balcony was a plus point. Your staff Bayu was great. Check in was seamless , he took the time to explain to us thoroughly and informed us on the channels that was showing WorldCup. The Google nest in the room was a plus point too! Which i think its very brilliant. Havent been to a hotel that uses a google nest as a form of communication to the Reception which is very user friendly. Netflix and spotify was available too! Walking distance to Nagoya which is fine. Provided a 24/7 in room spa services whch require a 30minutes lead time as well. It was an average stay. Could have been better.

New Hotel and everything is fresh and new.I was there on friday afternoon.Had b’fast on Saturday morning and impress with the basic variaties as there was not much guest as turnover is slow. But come Sunday and the occupancy is full the repleninshment of b’fast buffet is slow and theres no one checking the buffet to make sure that the buffet item is replenish.Overal Im happy with my stay and staff are very friendly and approachable.Will definitely come back👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
