"Dog friendly place, extra fee of course. Place is outdated but rooms were clean. TV, microwave, and mini fridge in rooms were clean and in good condition. Heater/air conditioner seemed very new. Good part: it was easy to find. Bad part: mildew in tiled shower; bed was soft. Exercise area is at Lobby with two machines. There is small sitting area in Lobby also. Had Wifi, coffee maker, and place to hang or store luggage."

"The setting was the clinching factor for selecting North Shire Lodge. Elevated with beautiful vistas of the mountains. Also a nice ride from Southern CT without interstate hwys. The Lodge is tasteful appointed with local character. The host / owners are friendly, genuine and happy to assist. Late May was a perfect time for me to visit. Cool to warm temps, and relatively quiet time in the area post ski season and pre summer tourism. The price was certainly fair and reasonable. Simply a wonderful country lodge, and I look forward to returning. Oh, the breakfasts were made carefully and expertly for each individual. Perfect."

"Four Chimneys is a delightful inn with an excellent restaurant and careful attention to detail all around. The room was very tastefully decorated, spacious, and comfortable. The first floor lounge offers a nice cozy space to enjoy a drink by the fireplace, with a small but well stocked bar. Marc was a friendly and gracious host. Dinner in the restaurant exceeded our expectations. The menu was creative and the food was excellent all around, but the salmon en croute and the endive salad were particularly noteworthy for their expert preparation and presentation. They've obviously hired a very good chef and aim to make this restaurant a standout. The setting is warm and inviting. Breakfasts were also very good, both the food and the service. Overall, I would highly recommend both the inn and the restaurant."

"1.6 gwiazdy jest sposób do hojnego. Bezpłatny WiFi bez kabla, bez torby z białym proszkiem w pokoju yup. Tylko dobrze o tym miejscu jest, jeśli padało, może można pozostać suchy, jeśli poszedł do pokoju. MAYBE ! Ludzie palą ****** przed swoimi pokojami. Przynajmniej nie widziałem kryterium, ale oni prawdopodobnie mają standardy i wiedzą lepiej"
