I suggest or recommend you for not stay at this hotel. Cleanliness very very bad. Hospitality from the staff is very very very bad. I complain on the AC, he said that the Engineering Staff already back home. And there is no improvement unless I pay another Rp.80.000 for upgrade to next category. The room was like the hotel already 30 years old. But the staff said is less than 10 years old. I said that this hotel is already 30 years old. They put fragrance on the room and the also put fragrance at the pillow and your bed. Not recommend to stay at this hotel. With the same rate, you can stay at better hotel, such as Puri

The hotel is located in the heart of Blitar yet it is an oasis of tranquility. You enter though an enchanting natural canopy like travelling through time. The canopy gives way to a natural courtyard bounded by foliage and natural plants. A few steps up from the courtyard is the magnificent inner hall complete with wonderful floral displays. its here you find the most luxurious rooms as well as the historic Presidential suite. Rooms are furnished in traditional Javanese style where comfort and cleanliness sit side by side. Meals are taken in the elegant dinning room which has an open outlook to the canopy. It is here you can sample and enjoy the best of Javanese food served by friendly and attentive staff. What makes Hotel Tugu so special is its people. Their friendliness and professionalism are second to none. From the moment you arrive you are treated as one of the 'Tugu' family and given to feel special. We have visited all quarters of the globe and with all that experience under our belt no other hotel can compare to Tugu Blitar for the warmth of welcome and tranquil surroundings which has a special and indescribable beauty. One of the hotels that was quite comfortable in the middle of Blitar city, East Java. Especially for those who want to visit Blitar with family or business. The location is quite strategic in the middle of Blitar city. This hotel only has 2 floors. The room’s condition was quite clean and comfortable. Only the air conditioner in my room was not too cold. TV was available in the room with several local and foreign channels. Also provided in the room was some snacks, but must pay if you want to enjoy it. Towels and bath soap was also available. Wifi was not too smooth when I stayed there. Breakfast menu choices was also limited. This hotel has a large meeting room, so it can be used for various activities, such as weddings, seminars, training and others. I recommend this hotel as a 3 star hotel.
