„The location of the hotel is just by the River and easy to take nice pictures right from the hotel or in front of the hotel. Upon our arrival, the doorman immediately grabbed our bags and welcomed us. Although we told him that our bags are heavy and offered to take some of the luggage by ourselves, he insisted to help us and helped to carry everything inside. The reception staff did the check in quickly and also informed us of their hotel facilities and services. They told us that we have a complimentary professional photography session to have our photos taken. They also introduced the local tourist attractions and we took the river boat trip that evening, which was very pleasant and nice way to see Guilin during the evening. The following day we went for the photo taking sessions and we got some beautiful memorable pictures taken. Our room was very beautiful and large and we wish we would have had more time to stay. We even had a separate room for drinking tea which was so cozy. The breakfast restaurant is located on the top floor of the hotel so the guests can have a nice view of the surroundings. Upon our departure the reception staff asked how our stay had been and bid us farewell and they had prepared some very cute gifts for us. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody who would like to visit Guilin leisure. Perfect location, perfect service and facilities!”

„The hotel staff work with a very good attitude and are very attentive to us. The rooms are very new, clean, and well-equipped. The rooms are located so that you can walk to Elephant’s Nose Mountain. The scenery along the way is so beautiful that it‘s worth staying here.”

This hotel exceeded every expectation and became one of the biggest highlights of our trip. From the incredible location and breathtaking views to the outstanding service and unforgettable experiences, everything was simply perfect. 📍 The Perfect Location The hotel is perfectly located next to Fubo Hill, with beautiful views of the Li River and Guilin’s iconic karst mountains. The Two Rivers & Four Lakes Scenic Area, restaurants, cafés, shopping streets, and many of the city’s top attractions are all within easy walking distance. We couldn’t have chosen a better location. 🏊 Stunning Rooftop Infinity Pool The rooftop infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking. Swimming while enjoying panoramic views of the Li River and Guilin’s spectacular mountain landscape was one of the most memorable moments of our stay. It’s truly one of the most beautiful hotel pools we’ve ever experienced. 🍜 Breakfast with an Incredible View Every morning began with a delicious breakfast overlooking the Li River and the surrounding karst mountains. The food was excellent, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the beautiful scenery made every breakfast feel special. 🛏️ Beautiful Rooms The room was spacious, spotless, stylish, and equipped with everything we needed. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, making our stay incredibly comfortable. ❤️ Exceptional Hospitality The staff were among the friendliest we’ve met during our travels. Everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and always happy to help. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. 🎣 Authentic Local Experiences This hotel offers so much more than just a place to stay. One of our favorite experiences was traditional riverside fishing with cormorants, which was both relaxing and uniquely local. We also loved the Chinese calligraphy class, children’s craft activities, and the complimentary traditional costume photoshoot with three beautifully edited photos included. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families Our children loved the spacious indoor playroom and all the activities prepared by the hotel. It is an excellent choice for families traveling with kids. 🍽️ Excellent Restaurant We also had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and were genuinely impressed. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was wonderful. 🧺 Thoughtful Extras Free self-service laundry, complimentary cultural activities, lovely farewell gifts, and so many thoughtful little touches made our stay even more memorable. ✨ Final Thoughts This hotel offers far more than just a beautiful place to stay—it creates unforgettable memories. „Pleasant surprises just kept coming after check-in! 💕 The ground floor is more like a welcoming lobby, while the actual check-in area is on the ninth floor. The front desk staff thoughtfully offered us two cups of tea while we were checking in. Behind the counter, there are several mountain peaks, making it feel like we're staying right in the mountains – a truly beautiful sensation! 😍 The top floor has an open-air rooftop, and the view at dusk is absolutely stunning! Unfortunately, I didn't have my phone with me when I went up then, so I only have one picture from the afternoon.”

„Coming to Guilin, I didn't want to spend every day traveling long distances, and choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision! The location offers direct access to Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, and Sun and Moon Pagodas, while East West Alley and Zheng Yang Pedestrian Street are within walking distance. During the day, you can enjoy the scenic landscapes, and in the evening, explore the night market and slurp up some rice noodles. The itinerary was relaxed and unhurried. The room was simple yet sophisticated, with a great sense of design, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. A highlight was the 8th-floor infinity pool, surrounded by lush greenery, offering stunning views of the karst peaks – perfect for capturing amazing vacation photos! The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes, and the freshly made Guilin rice noodle stand was incredibly authentic.”

„This hotel is genuinely great! I started looking at hotels while still on the high-speed train and browsed through many options before being captivated by the beautiful views this one offered. The front desk even called us in advance to ask about our arrival time and thoughtfully turned on the air conditioning for us. After checking in, a staff member helped carry our luggage to the room. On the way, he explained all the hotel's facilities. The sky garden on the seventh floor is absolutely stunning 🤩, and I even caught the sunrise there the next morning, which was truly breathtaking. Watching the Xiaoyao Tower from the sky garden at night is incredibly beautiful. The hotel's gym and laundry room are well-equipped, and the laundry room even has an ironing machine, which is a big plus! The room's interior has a retro-chic decor style, augmented with smart room controls, giving it a simple yet grand feel. The mini-fridge in the room is a nice touch and stocked with complimentary drinks. It's a pity I overslept and missed breakfast. Lastly, I personally found the room to be very quiet! Not as exaggeratedly noisy as some reviews suggested! Next time I'm in Guilin, or if friends visit Guilin, I will definitely recommend the Xinyu Hotel.”
