„This hotel is a true gem and definitely worth saving! High quality and an unbeatable price! The room was spotless, immaculately clean with a fresh, sunny feel in every corner. The cleanliness was exceptional, with no strange odors at all. The space was also generous, allowing me to feel completely relaxed the moment I stepped in. The hotel's location is super convenient, easy to find right by the road. The front desk staff handled my check-in professionally, quickly, and courteously. My stay was absolutely fantastic. The view from the window was also stunning, and I appreciated being able to store my luggage after check-out. Parking was also convenient, making for a pleasant experience all day long. I've saved this one and highly recommend it; I'll definitely be back!”

„Zarezerwowałem ten hotel w ostatniej chwili. Hotel znajduje się naprzeciwko parku Xiangshan, a jego drzwi wejściowe wychodzą na ulicę. Złote drzwi są bardzo piękne. „The location of the hotel is just by the River and easy to take nice pictures right from the hotel or in front of the hotel. Upon our arrival, the doorman immediately grabbed our bags and welcomed us. Although we told him that our bags are heavy and offered to take some of the luggage by ourselves, he insisted to help us and helped to carry everything inside. The reception staff did the check in quickly and also informed us of their hotel facilities and services. They told us that we have a complimentary professional photography session to have our photos taken. They also introduced the local tourist attractions and we took the river boat trip that evening, which was very pleasant and nice way to see Guilin during the evening. The following day we went for the photo taking sessions and we got some beautiful memorable pictures taken. Our room was very beautiful and large and we wish we would have had more time to stay. We even had a separate room for drinking tea which was so cozy. The breakfast restaurant is located on the top floor of the hotel so the guests can have a nice view of the surroundings. Upon our departure the reception staff asked how our stay had been and bid us farewell and they had prepared some very cute gifts for us. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody who would like to visit Guilin leisure. Perfect location, perfect service and facilities!”

From the spacious guest rooms, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Li River and the lush gardens.The hotel has indoor/outdoor swimming pools and a large garden suitable for children to play. The children's playground is equipped with slides, and the bathing and changing rooms are also very user-friendly.The hotel has several top-notch local restaurants and bars, with elegant cocktails, exquisite meals, and casual poolside snacks, where you can have a full meal.The huge pillar-less banquet hall has an area of 1,800 square meters and a ceiling height of 9 meters. It can easily accommodate 1,600 guests and is suitable for business meetings.
„Firstly, on our check-in, we were told we can upgrade to a Riverview room at a cost of around 100 RMB. after we agreed to upgrade and got up to our room. (Please see picture below)that was the river room. Nothing like a river view room that we have ever experienced.   When we called the manager to ask for the river room, we got upgraded to a higher floor( see the picture attached)  again not a river view room that we would ever called it.  Dinner.  We book our dinner in the Chinese restaurant Xianggong (香宫) not to mention their service was extremely slow. We waited for our noodle until the last course to be served like a hour. Please see the picture attach. This is the picture on the menu that  I was expecting please see picture attached that is the noodle that got served to me. a although I understand in some situation, the picture is just for reference, but I think at this case this is extremely misrepresented.  Another dish we orders “ wagyu beef with mushrooms. “ again we questioned this is hardly wagyu beef and please see the picture below. That’s the dish we got served, nothing like the picture again.  It was deeply disappointing experience, and we booked based on the Shangri -La name and our previous experiences.   Although  Shangri Guilin has his beautiful landscape and infrastructure, the service is clearly not a Shanghai standard.”

MMia90709Zatrzymałem się na jedną noc podczas mojej niedawnej wizyty w powiecie Yangshuo. Przyjazny personel, z którego niektórzy mówią po angielsku. Zostałem odprowadzony do pokoju i wyjaśniłem wszystko, co musiałem wiedzieć podczas pobytu. Czysty i przestronny pokój; wyposażony w minibar, co było doskonałym rozwiązaniem w upalne dni. Przy łóżku przydałby się punkt ładowania telefonu komórkowego. Śniadanie było urozmaicone i pyszne. Świetna lokalizacja, krótki spacer od molo nad rzeką Li i tętniącej życiem ulicy West Street. Szczyt Ruyifeng jest oddalony o około 16 kilometrów, a taksówki/Didi są dostępne tuż za progiem. Bliżej znajduje się teren raftingowy Yulong. W pobliżu znajdują się urocze kawiarnie. Niesamowite widoki z baru na dachu.

SshenitaZarezerwowaliśmy dwa pokoje razem na majówkę. Ten był na 8. piętrze, z pięknym widokiem, ale bardzo żałuję, że go zarezerwowaliśmy; poczułem się oszukany. 1. Gospodyni najpierw powiedziała nam, że na molo jest kontrola ruchu i nie możemy wziąć taksówki, więc musimy iść pieszo. 2. Poprosiliśmy hotel o pomoc w rezerwacji samochodu. Trasa miała ponad 6 kilometrów i początkowo zaproponowano 120 juanów, a później 180 juanów za odbiór. Najgorsze jest to, że najpierw trzeba przejść co najmniej 2,2 kilometra. 3. Z powodu kontroli ruchu, kiedy dotarliśmy na molo, zobaczyliśmy kierowców oferujących nam podwiezienie do hotelu za 15 juanów od osoby, ale wahaliśmy się, bojąc się, że dostaniemy czarną taksówkę. 4. Pojechaliśmy więc autobusem turystycznym na parking dla turystów (15 juanów dla dorosłych, 10 juanów dla dzieci), a następnie taksówką za 100 juanów dojechaliśmy do hotelu. Kierowca taksówki powiedział, że na molo są samochody za około 100 juanów za sztukę i zapytał, dlaczego nie zadzwoniliśmy do środka… Zaniemówiłem.

The room was clean, comfortable, and came with a lovely balcony offering serene mountain views—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and all the basic amenities were thoughtfully provided. One of the highlights was the coffee shop conveniently located right downstairs—ideal for a morning pick-me-up or a relaxing afternoon break. But what truly made the stay special was the owner. She speaks fluent English, so communication was smooth and easy. As someone who doesn’t plan much in advance, I found her local guidance absolutely invaluable. She mapped out routes and recommended hidden gems that made my trip unforgettable. She’s also a talented painter! The beautiful cards you’ll spot at the reception desk or in the bathroom are her own hand-drawn creations—such a lovely personal touch that adds character to the place. If you’re a cat enthusiast, prepare to be delighted—they have a whole feline family that adds a warm, homey vibe to the property. 🐱 A minor note: the room’s proximity to the main road means it can get a bit noisy in the evenings or early mornings. Personally, it didn’t bother me much—after a full day riding the scooter I rented from them for just 30 RMB, I slept like a baby. Also worth mentioning: this is the perfect spot for travelers who prefer peace and quiet over nightlife. It’s close enough to the action for convenience, but far enough to enjoy restful evenings. Overall, this spot is a fantastic blend of comfort, convenience, and character. Highly recommended for laid-back travelers, art lovers, and cat fans alike!

GGośćSpacious room with nice views (although there is a lot of future development around that may block views). Staff were generous and friendly. Breakfast was varied and the on demand noodle station and egg station was a highlight. Pool was a nice amenity and the laundry room was very useful. Was not accustomed to the people smoking inside in the dining room which did not seem to align with the wellness/health aspect of the space. The design of the rooms also did not have windows which made the humidity above 84%. Thankfully you can ask for a dehumidifier if needed. The beds were very comfortable. It would be nice if they had bikes or scooters to rent on site (or provided shuttle service ) as the hotel is a bit remote.

Personel hotelu był uprzejmy i udzielił nam dobrych porad dotyczących harmonogramu wycieczki. Zarezerwowaliśmy nocny rejs łodzią z hotelu, co jest naprawdę o wiele łatwiejsze, szczególnie w szczycie sezonu. Nocny rejs jest wart zobaczenia, a uliczki z jedzeniem znajdowały się tuż obok rejsu łodzią i Elephant Mountain. Hotel koncentruje się na dzieciach, ponieważ na najwyższym piętrze znajduje się plac zabaw dla dzieci, a dla dzieci (podczas naszego pobytu) oferowane są darmowe lody, aby podtrzymać świąteczny nastrój. VVidicationThis hotel was not my original choice because to be quiet frank, the hotel looks a bit eery from the pictures then i happened to see that they’re just awarded one michelin hotel star. It changed my mind. And what a good decision to change my mind. There’s nothing spooky about the hotel, the vibes are warm. The design is minimalistic. The breakfast is good. The room is huge, the amenities are grown alchemist. They thoughtfully put outdoor and indoor sandals for you to wear in the room. They gave a free photography service and it turned out quite nice. Very happy with the result. Even if you travel to Yangshuo, this is the hotel you need to book!

GGośćWe originally booked four night stay, however we cut our stay short by two nights. The reason are the following the food is not too fresh and lacks variety. The service is not exactly good, we had to ask twice to get towels. Furthermore, when we asked for two extra bottles of water, we were told we need to pay for it. I think the above is totally not acceptable for this type of hotel for this price.

NNorwegian travelerThe Hotel and Service is great! Especially for families. But one major issue for us is that they live stream video of all the guests in the swimming pool area from 19:00-22:00 each day. They live stream it to ** (Chinese version of TikTok) for commercial purposes. For us, this is very unusual and feels like an invasion of privacy. And there is no proper coffee for breakfast, but with the great service, you can ask the staff at the reception to order coffee delivery from a local shop. And you refund them for using a Chinese delivery app we foreigners don’t have access to. There is a giant crane towering over the property at the moment. My guess is that it will stay there at least until November 2026, but that’s just a guess based on current construction. Except for the negative, this hotel is solid and has great service. I definitely recommend it.
