Only drawback - the beach was v rocky n you couldn’t swim in it (spart from stingers at this time of year). For swimming, i reckon Horseshoe Bay would be the best."

The food menu has plenty of options. Accommodation is fairly basic and clearly built for the FIFO crowd, but is clean and serviced daily. If you are going to stay here make sure you have access to a vehicle as there is nothing else here in Merinda. Nearest town is Bowen.."
