"Unfortunately our trip was not realised as communication proved hopeless. Messages, emails and voice messages not returned until too late. Finally received an apology with explanation / excuse. Didn't inspire confidence in a former guest who has always loved this destination."

Osborn House ★★★★★

📍 96 Osborn Ave, Bundanoon

"This is a lovely property with five star accommodation and service. Our premier suite was terrific - spacious with a very comfortable bed, sitting area and large bathroom. Lots of thoughtful touches including real tea in the room, not tea bags! Within the house there are a number of very pleasant lounge areas in addition to the main communal space. If the weather had been better, it looked like there could have been a nice view and inviting outdoor areas in which to sit. The big disappointment was the quality of the food in “The Bar” restaurant for dinner. The food was pricey and we were expecting food to match. The main restaurant was not open while we were there. Breakfast, however, was very nice. I have given the property five stars but I would have preferred to give it 4.5 as the food offering definitely needs improving."

Dormie House Hotele w: Bowral

Dormie House

"Warunki pokojowe były bardzo stare i muszkie. Okna zniknęły zielone z przyzwoitym widokiem na pole golfowe. Niestety, ramy i ślepki okna zostały złamane i potrzebne do zastąpienia. Łóżko w rodzaju rozmiaru składa się z 2 pojedynczych łóżek wraz z dywanem źle malowany z złym zapachem. Ściany były stare i potrzebował nowego kurtka farby, a łazienka była wilgotna z miska toaletowa, zlew i prysznic bardzo źle utrzymany i potrzebny do renowacji. Deski podłogowe w naszym pokoju i w pokoju nad nami jęczący przez całą noc, kiedy ktoś chodził. Niestety, to będzie ostatni raz, kiedy zostaniemy tutaj i zdecydowaliśmy się sprawdzić pierwsze rzeczy rano."

"The motel met our needs perfectly - late arrival, early departure. Pet friendly - very important! Old style room but comfortable and when we arrived the air con and the light was on. Very welcome on a cold night. Bed was comfy and could park at door. The proprietor's thoughtfulness was very much appreciated. Easy to find and well located. Good value too."

"It was one of the best presented cabins we have stayed in. It more than accommodated our needs. Was exceptionally clean and the staff were charming. I have a small disability but other than the front steps (4) its access was amazing. Rates were very reasonable."

"We booked two nights for our 20th wedding anniversary and received a call two weeks prior to our stay to be informed that our reservation was cancelled as they had a 'client who has booked an event and wants all the rooms'. They cancelled all other guests bookings. We had made the booking three months earlier, the hotel had plenty of time to work out their issue."

Osborn House ★★★★★
"I recently spent two nights in a Premier Suite at Osborn House with my wife. On arrival the experience was immediately special - Valet parking, drink on arrival, excellent welcoming staff and such a beautiful location and facility. We took advantage of many of the Osborn House services/offerings, enjoying the pool and spa-bath with bar service from the team. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony overlooking national parkland, played tennis and walked around the grounds. Over our stay my wife enjoyed two different treatments at the spa, both she was very happy with. There were also many a quiet corner for me to send a few emails over a glass of wine whilst she was at the spa. Our room was beautiful, quiet, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was as good as the pictures look. On location: It was easy to get to from the Hume Hwy, and being a short drive away from Berrima, Moss Vale, and Bowral, Osborn House was also a great base for us to explore/experience the highlands. The staff were outstanding end-to-end, and couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you Osborn House for a great stay, we were sad to leave!"
