„酒店地理位置絕佳，就在銀灘對面，帶孩子挖沙很方便，結果娃大了説已經不喜歡挖了😂同樣也因為在銀灘邊上，7點多樓下就很熱鬧，影響睡眠，而且春節期間人太多，這個位置不好打車，最方便的是電瓶車出行。房間設施該有的都有，就是淋浴間衹有半個隔斷，毫無作用，洗完澡整個浴室都是濕的，擋不了一點水。酒店門口能停車，工作人員會為客人留好停車位，贊一個。因為訂的早，總體來説春節期間性價比還是高的。”

„The hotel's lobby is very nice, my room was upgraded and I received a much nicer one that I had requested, which was a big plus. The views were excellent, the room spacious and clean. Can definitely recommend it on the grounds of the location, too, which was very convenient. Issues I had was that the breakfast buffet was average at best, and that the water in the bathtub, after turning it on, was initially yellow, rusty and very foul. It took a minute for the gunk to clear the system. Not a great look!”

„It's very nice little hotel. Staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. Room was modern and stylish with a comfortable bed. nice simple breakfast in the morning including eggs, noodles, fruit, bread, dumpling, etc. They have tea, milk and coffee, which is nice. the rooftop pool is big and clean with a view of the beach. the location is quite good, short walk to the beach, many seafood restaurants and cafes around the hotel, and also close to a mall that has a ton of restaurants, mostly on the 4th floor. close to the high speed rail station and also to old street, downtown, and other attractions.”

„I would really recommend this hotel just for the private beach! The public beaches are full of people, but this hotels beach was very calm and pleasant. In the evening we had a meal on the beach. The view from the room (on the sea side) was stunning. The buffet breakfast is amazing. Huge variety of choices. My only complaint would be the bathroom that felt a bit run down. Would need to be refreshed.”

„We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel but I would not recommend to non-Chinese unless they are really well enculturated - some of the staff attitudes and practices were very ”local.”  It was a great location for an old-fashioned, relaxing, few days by the sea, easy walking distance of the Old Town, Underwater World, Golden Beach and directly on the sea front promenade.  Breakfasts were solidly local with little variation and the only drink was hot soy milk (we got our morning caffeine fix at the friendly Keyhole Cafe close by.  And I agree with the other reviews about the wonderfully comfortable beds and bedding.”

„I stayed here with my girlfriend during the Chinese new year, and we loved it. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially the boy who helped with our luggage and the restaurant staff, such as Wang Xiaomei who welcomed us each morning. The hotel is very close to the beach and lots of restaurants. The only problem I had, as with all HI hotels I’ve stayed in recently, is that the pillows are uncomfortable and need replacing, and the duvet is far too thick for the warm weather in Beihai. Also, they advertised on Ctrip that they have air conditioning, but it doesn’t work. Overall, a good stay though thanks to the staff.”

GGośćI was very curious how a property with such an affordable price has a such a high rating. I was immediately convinced by myself. The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

CCharms928Had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The service was absolutely impressive where free laundry service and daily afternoon tea with fresh fruits and cakes were served. They also helped to arrange free transport between the harbour and the hotel. The door gift is particularly thoughtful which contains a nice UV protective umbrella, mosquito repellant and sun block. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully designed! Ours was the ground floor room with the garden view. Though the hotel swimming pool is right outside, the lush greenery offered great privacy. The air-conditioned and pleasantly perfumes room was literally my oasis during this short island trip! And it is quite budget friendly!:) Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who’s planning to visit the island! Overall A+ experience! (Though it’d be a plus point if the laundry could be ironed.)

GGośćGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave. Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play. The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way. The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned. The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture) If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe. I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China. However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too. These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host! I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

LLawcchThis was my second time checking in for this new homestay. The boss is very kind to pick me up from the Beihai jetty after I returned from my trip to Weizhou island. The room is very clean and beautifully decorated. He was also very responsive when I requested slippers and clothes hangers. This Homestay hotel is strategically located near the silver beach. I strongly recommend travellers or tourists stay here to see the beautiful homestay place and the boss is also kind enough to allow cooking in the kitchen. I also did my sweet and sour pork and chicken meats in my first 2 days stay here. I gave the boss and this homestay place considered 5 stars for the best value for money.

To celebrate my mother-in-law’s 60th birthday, the staff customized our room perfectly, showing genuine care and professionalism. The dinner buffet was unreal—delicious, special, and a true culinary experience. The hotel’s environment added even more magic, with a lively pool area and a kid’s zone that my baby boy loved so much he didn’t want to leave. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, and the hotel’s sensational garden felt like a dream. To top it all off, the view from our room was breathtaking, like something out of a magazine. I can confidently say this was one of the best stays I’ve ever had, and I highly recommend the Marriott Hotel in Beihai for anyone seeking a genuinely perfect getaway.

GGośćThe homestay is beautifully laid out and much thought has gone into the design. It’s very quiet and relaxing, and has lovely benches and swings outside surrounded by beautiful plants. The owner is very eager to please. You can walk about 10 minutes to get to the beach - the beach and the park next to it is beautiful and stretches for miles. When I stayed in March/April, the weather was miserable and cold so I didn’t make use of the pool. One thing to keep in mind, is that this is a homestay catering to Chinese people - that means breakfast is standard Chinese and the mattress on the bed is also Chinese-firm. Neither of the owners speak English, but you can add the lady on Wechat to communicate with her. Being a homestay means less crowds and more relaxing. The owner was very kind to refund me one night when I decided to shorten my stay due to the crappy weather. I really appreciate that she was flexible and accommodating with this.

GGość潿洲島旅行完美結束啦！這次訂的這家酒店性價比高。房間衞生乾淨整潔，設施也滿足了需求，晚上睡覺也安靜。位置離景區很近，出入方便。老闆家有電動車出租價格實惠，老闆推薦了他家的香蕉雞味道超級好吃，海鮮加工也是絕了。下次還來再住他家，值得推薦！

TTraveling Family from GermanyHad a really mixed stay at this Hotel. Only booked one night, with the option of extending, but decided against. My wife and I came on separated flight, with mine delayed over 5 hours. I arrived at 02:00 past midnight to check-in. First they the reception told me I’m in the wrong hotel. I had to proof my booking with them and the fact that my wife is already in the room. After some discussion they refused to check me in, but told me to call my wife to let me into the room. First, not checking in and registering a foreigner is against the law. Second, why should I wake up my sleeping wife at this late hours? After insisting on being checked in the process went fast and smoothly, which makes me wonder, why the discussions first? Room was spacious and clean. Nice view over the ocean. At the breakfast buffet we were greeted by hordes of waiters watching over a half empty buffet, at 09:30. Nearly no western food options and no cold cuts. After asking I was treated to a plate of two pieces of Camembert, hard cheese and some kind of milk cheese. Not the standard for a Sheraton breakfast. That’s also my final verdict. For this price and being a Sheraton Resort, it’s not up to the standards one would expect from a place with this name.
