„The hotel directly oppsite a tall apartment and is alittle distance from the Wanda Plaza shopping mall, u need to passby a apartment then cross a busy junction to get to the opposite street, then walk abt 3min to the mall. Opposite the hotel, u can find Luckin coffee, fruits shop and mini marts, is quite convenient. We accessed the laundry room and gym in the hotel and find them good. Breakfast is nice and consists of good variety of local foods. The supper is not very nice though, the side dishes do not smells fresh and the porridge is watery, seems to leave there for quite sometimes. The customer services of reception and housekeeping are very good, we enjoyed the stay.”

„Booked two rooms for two nights with my parents and children. While the Ferrari might be old, it's still a Ferrari! The hotel maintains InterContinental's consistent high standards: clean, tidy, with a spacious room and a bathtub. The toiletries and breakfast were excellent and varied, which my parents particularly enjoyed. Xiao Xiong at the front desk provided great service; she kindly extended lounge access and breakfast for my child to one of our executive rooms, and the lounge food was fantastic. The hotel's location is convenient for driving, very close to the Jinjiang No. 2 Sports Center where we attended a concert, just across the Jinjiang Bridge.”

„I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, and the service has always been outstanding. Whenever I’ve had difficulties in China, the staff have gone out of their way to help me, whether with translation or practical problems. They even helped me recover laundry I had forgotten at another hotel in Shanghai, and on another occasion, when I lost my wallet, they helped me contact the driver. They are extremely competent, efficient, and genuinely helpful. The hotel is also very well maintained, the view is great, and even the robot service is reliable. Among all the hotels I’ve stayed at in China, this is easily the best in terms of service.”

MMalgalej ChooOur stay at 18 Homestay (Nan Yue Eighteen) was truly lovely and felt warm, thoughtful, and beautifully curated from start to finish.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. They provided a map and patiently explained nearby attractions, along with personalised recommendations based on our preferences, which made exploring the area very convenient and enjoyable.
The homestay itself is immaculately clean and tastefully designed. The space is bright, airy, and calming, with lots of greenery and beautifully styled communal areas. I brought my parents and aunty along, and they were genuinely impressed by how comfortable, spacious, and well-maintained the place was, it felt welcoming for all ages.
The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and plan our daily activities without any hassle.
Breakfast was nicely presented with a light and simple selection. While enjoyable, having a little more variety would further enhance the overall experience.
On our last day, we were pleasantly surprised with a small farewell gift, which was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture.
Overall, this is a stylish, clean, and welcoming homestay with genuinely warm hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back again when we return for our next holiday. Highly recommended.

GGuntoubupahoThe hotel is located in a central prime location in a busy but relatively quiet side street, very convenient and close to everything you ever need. Plenty of attractions,restaurants, cafes and places of interest all within walking distance. We had a fantastic time here in Quanzhou with superb and hospitable weather all through the week, no withstanding the taiphoon passing nearby.
The facilities are modern, even an inhouse cafe/ restaurant which provides prompt services with near perfect tasty food and drinks. The room service on the low desk in the room made it the best and most memorable dining experience we had during the mini honeymoon. See the photos attached.
The staff esp the reception, even the cleaners, went out of the way to attend to every needs and request from us, always with a smile and highly professional disposition. I personally saw how they handled a particularly difficult client with such grace and calmness, which settled the impasse pretty promptly. I saw the client a few days later who was full of smiles, satisfaction and appreciation of the level of comfort and services she received.
I couldn't have been happier the 4 days staying and could have extended more days had there been rooms available. But I promise to return when the first opportunity avail itself.
The only suggestion I can give is to make the slippery floor in the toilet more slip resistant. Perhaps with some thin layer of anti slip mat whenever requested by more senior clients like me. I was extra careful going in and out each time, as the water ponded easily there .

GGośćWe really enjoyed our stay at Gucheng Alley Yu Hotel and felt very welcome due to the warm, helpful and patient service from 小阳 and 小王!
The room was clean and really spacious, as seen in the attached photo, and peaceful at night.
The mattresses and blankets are perfect, which provides a good night's rest without leaving us feeling too warm or cold.
Breakfast is served at the Yalla雅拉 restaurant within the hotel compound, which serves a mix of Singapore-style (e.g. kaya toast) and Fujian food (Shacha noodles). Food is rather average though.
The hotel is located near the Quanzhou Bell Tower 泉州钟楼, making it within walking distance from Zhongshan Road (中山路) and West Street (西街), and also near excellent eateries such as 德文虾仔面 in East Street.
Leaving the following information to help anyone who is planning to reach the hotel by private hire car or taxi.
Please note that cars are unable to enter Zhongshan Middle Road (中山中路) and West Street (西街) due to barricades. The nearest drop off points for private hire cars, which we managed to find, are at Quanzhou Hotel (泉州酒店) and the ICBC Bank branch 中国工商银行(泉州开元支行) near the clock tower. Both of these locations will be a good 400 to 500 meters away from the hotel, with Quanzhou Hotel being the less busy drop off point, so please be prepared for the workout carrying your luggage to the hotel entrance!

The hotel offers a fresh, modern, and comfortable environment that exceeds expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness, thoughtful design, and welcoming atmosphere.
Compared to the Xiamen branch, my experience here was significantly better. The attention to detail, quality of service, and overall ambiance were remarkable. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably maintained, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay. The fresh views from the hotel added a delightful touch to my trip, making it a refreshing experience.
The staff deserves special mention for their professionalism and friendliness, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The facilities are top-notch, catering to both business and leisure travelers alike, with everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay.
I genuinely enjoyed my time here and am looking forward to returning in the future. Without a doubt, this is the best 4-star hotel in the Jinjiang area, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the region.

雾雾与光的旅程Stayed at Allston Hotel (Anxi County Government Store) during my trip to Anxi and overall it was quite a pleasant stay.
The location is very convenient, close to the main road and not far from local attractions and restaurants, which makes travelling around the area easy. Even though it is near the road, the room was relatively quiet at night, so it didn’t affect the rest at all.
The front desk service was excellent. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful during check-in, and they were quick to assist whenever needed. Special mention to the front desk lady very polite, attentive, and yes… quite pretty too!
One small thing I would like to mention is that hotel hygiene could be improved slightly. There were some minor cleanliness issues in the room that needed more attention. However, what I truly appreciate is that after giving feedback, the front desk immediately arranged a change to a better room, which showed that they really care about guest experience and service quality.
Overall, the hotel offers great value for money, with good location, helpful staff, and comfortable rooms. With a little more attention to cleanliness, it would be even better. I would still recommend it for travelers visiting Anxi, especially for solo travelers or short stays.

Facilities were well equipped, room was clean and breakfast was ample. It was sweet that they served fruit plate and dessert to my room during the evening. They have their own huge spa centre around the corner, though I only discovered it at the end of my sta. At the same time, the individually operated massage place at the hotel lobby was just as convenient. Highly recommended if you are staying in Shishi!

YYas_miniNot sure if this hotel is independently run or under the park in brand. The checkin and check out and getting left luggage just took forever. The staff were not friendly, no uniforms were worn, no welcome was given . Nothing was even said when I checked in. I was given a room that was clean and tidy. However the first night being a Saturday I was kept awake by the thumping sounds of the nightclub and the screaming sounds of KTV bar which kept me up all night. Then at 6 am the construction started digging and grinding. I asked to switch rooms and the next room was smaller . Somewhat clean. But it over looked the roof of the building where the aircon machines were which was absolutely loud.
The breakfast in this hotel was abysmal . Not much western food or vegetarian options. Except over sugary cereal and toast with no toppings. Every morning the room was filled and mosh patrons wasted half of what they took it was disheartening to see soo much food waste. The breakfast fruits were also always finished and nothing was being replenished. The chairs and table were dirty and stained. And I’m not sure the type of hygiene that went on cause no staff wore any type of uniforms. The coffee machine was dirty with finger marks and the overall cleaning was just poor. Skip the breakfast it was loud and in there and I saw guests sitting with the feet on the chains and kids sleeping all over the place.
The location is not very convenient it’s a bit of a distance from the west street and buses are not frequent but the bus stop is right outside.
The restroom in the lobby was also in a very poor state when I wanted to use it.
Again it is 2025 why are wel allowing smoking in public establishments! The halls smelt like smoke and one day my room a non-smoking room had a stench of smoke coming through the vents. The daily house keeping was also suspect, one day the toilet was cleaned and floors mopped the next.
Seriously , not sure if it’s actually is a radisson or what. But overall the room was clean and tidy.

GGośćAfter further experience, it seems that this place is typical for this area at this price range. So I guess I got what I paid for. But still, I was significantly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness.
The lobby seemed clean and new, but after that, the elevator, hallway, and room were disappointing. And although this room was a bit cleaner than a cheaper room at a different hotel nearby, the floor and bathroom were still noticeably dirty. There was a stain on the bedsheet, which I don’t doubt was perfectly sanitary, but still added to the impression of it being dirty. There were some free condoms and lube in a container near the bed, which made the place feel even more shady and unappealing.
Besides those things, it was fine. The breakfast on the top floor (you have to go up a set of stairs to get to it) was ok, though quite simple, Chinese-style breakfast items.
Overall, it was tolerable, and from experiencing a few other hotels later during my stay, I came to see that it’s hard to get anything much better than that for that price range. I paid about $28/night for this place. If you want a clean place to stay, you’ll probably have to pay a decent amount more money, probably more than $40.
