Mirissa – hotele ze śniadaniem

這家民宿真的是太美了。雖然在巷子深處，但安排非常貼心。前台可以幫忙叫突突車，去海灘附近的餐廳。整個酒店就在運河邊，陽台上有不同的小鳥，野生孔雀造訪。設施設備也很新。唯一美中不足的是離運河很近，晚上如果下雨的話雨聲真的很大.....也會有小蟲造訪房間，但瑕不掩瑜，非常棒的住宿體驗。

Absolutely beautiful colonial-style house with antique furniture and real character! Everything was clean and carefully presented. We were greeted with refreshing drinks and shown to a stunning room with TWO balconies and its own little attic. We really enjoyed the delicious and varied breakfasts, which much better coffee than we drank elsewhere. The pool was also a huge benefit after a hot day exploring Mirissa. The Spice House is very near the beaches and plenty of nice restaurants and cafes. Its staff were friendly and helpful - and we even had a nice chat with the owners one evening. Definitely recommend!

I stayed here for a total of 5 nights. The hotel is walking distance to the main road and only short tuk tuk drive to all the beach restaurants and bars. The owner was very friendly. The room itself was very basic and has everything one could need. This was decent place to stay for asking price!

I stayed at this guesthouse from February 25 through March 11, 22026. The guesthouse is located away from the main road, up on a hill, which means it is still within walking distance from the main Mirissa's attractions, but away from the noise of the main road, bars and crowds. The view from my balcony on the ocean and the lighthouse was the highlight of every morning, and you can see the fishers' harbor from the breakfast patio. The guesthouse is owned and managed by a married couple - family-oriented, welcoming, warm and very supportive. Jan has many contacts and recommendations for activities in Mirissa and can arrange tours at or below the market price. Smily is truly a wonderful keeper of the place - in terms of cleanliness and the spirit. They have said in one of the conversations that they want the place to feel like a family home, and this is truly so, they are doing a great job at it. As a solo traveller, I appreciated the sense of safety and security at their place. The guesthouse has been recently renovated - in a very good condition, definitely no mold (which is a big problem for the island), very clean and neat rooms and general area. Hot water is solar-heated, but there is a reserve electric heater also. There is a full-size fridge on the second floor for the guests to use, and Jan is bringing ample water bottle supply from the city for the guests to use. Laundry services, taxi, dinner reservations, etc. - all are available through them as well, if required. I used the opportunity to order my transfer back to the airport in Colombo through Jan, which was more affordable than the official booking price through airport-affiliated services. Due to the flight issues in March (my connection was through Dubai), I could not leave the island in time as planned, and Jan and Smily managed to extend my accomodation for a few extra days, as well as helped resolve all issues as I was working on plan B for my return home. I really appreciated their support in my time of distress. In short - comfortable place, wonderful family, good location, excellent service. Highly recommend.

Good location. It is in beach road and plenty of options to eat outside. Everything is in walkable distance. We had sea view room which gave a beautiful start to the day in early morning. The only thing that troubled me was there was no elevator hence I had to take the luggage through stairs to 2nd floor. The owner helped me as well to carry the luggage. I would definitely recommend this place for your stay as it provides a good atmosphere. They have a kitchen for your self cooking where you can prepare your own food. My wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay. The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel. At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival. Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own. Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound. Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience.

I enjoyed my time at Ara Beach Resort, thanks to its excellent location and the fabulous pool. The staff were friendly and added to the resort's pleasant atmosphere. However, I'd suggest a little more focus on cleaning and keeping the buffet breakfast items hot. The food was delicious but consistently served cold. With these small changes, Ara Beach Resort could be even more wonderful.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed with a coastal vibe. Waking up to the sound of waves and the sea breeze was an absolute highlight. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was delightful—fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of options to choose from. I especially loved their seafood dishes, which were prepared to perfection. Another great feature was the location. It’s close enough to Mirissa’s main attractions but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle, giving you the best of both worlds.

Небольшой отельчик в 50 метрах от океана. Местоположение отличное. Очень вкусные завтраки, на выбор омлет, скрамбл, яичница плюс йогурт, фрукты, тосты и кофе. Номер очень простой без телевизора, но нам его и не надо было. По вечерам комары, как в России. Ночью, если не закрыть дверь, в номер могут залезть бурундуки и порыться в чемодане и съесть вашу еду)))))). В общем отель хороший, рекомендую
