Singapur – hotele ze śniadaniem

Thank you InterContinental Singapore for a wonderful stay, with an extra special thank you to Mann Rahmat (the concierge) who could not do enough for us to make our stay as special as possible to celebrate a birthday & anniversary, with Mann arranging cakes and a bottle of wine on behalf of the staff. Yes, there are many great hotels in Singapore (you’d struggle to find a bad one!) but the InterContinental had that old feel of opulence with its colonial architecture and sitting right of top of Bugis MRT interchange meant your had the rest of what wonderful Singapore had to offer only a train ride away. ♥️

Our stay at Shangri-La was truly the best we have ever experienced. The staff were outstanding — consistently polite, incredibly helpful, and genuinely warm in every interaction, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is exceptional. The festive season decorations were beautifully done and perfectly suited my style: classic, refined Christmas décor that felt elegant and timeless rather than overdone. Our room exceeded our expectations in every way — spacious, impeccably maintained, and thoughtfully prepared with great attention to detail. The breakfast was simply remarkable — the quality, variety, freshness, and presentation were beyond words and made each morning a delight. A special mention to Tamil, unfortunately the only staff member whose name I recall, but truly outstanding. His professionalism, kindness, and dedication made a real difference to our stay.

Was happy with the location, the hotel was clean. Beds were quite firm and service was not great. Never enough towels in room and sometimes never delivered more even after calling for them

Mandai Resort exceeded my expectations of a weekend stacation, probably because despite the lingering long walks from Zoo to the resort room, our fatigue is marred as we soak in the windy lush greenery and beautiful landscape. Simply adore the architectural design from the drop off, to the Lobby. Every corner is intricately sculptured to Mother Nature, be it the curved ceiling (mimicking a walkway in to a cave) to the pebble path step down from lobby floor and even the billard pool table is woody. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and shall return!

A pleasant experience with Conrad Singapore Marina Bay - I have decided to celebrate my 6th wedding anniversary with Conrad. From reaching the hotel till departure, the staff team worked seamlessly in making sure that positive experience and memories is created for my family. My 1 year old son, who is an October baby - his first staycation, was given a small complimentary cake by Daniel and his colleagues during check-in. Vanessa and Nik were a few warm and friendly staff who checked-in with us when we met them at the reception area. There were a few others memorable details such as preparing surprises within our room by the hotel staff. I can see that there is a tight communication and strong teamwork to ensure great hospitality. Definitely will consider Conrad Singapore Marine Bay for another staycation soon.

I had a staycation at the Swissotel on a weekday night. Since it was quite late, check-in was smooth and fast. I was given a city view premier (Standard) room on the 24th floor. The room was of an odd shape with a long corridor which reduced noise levels. Since the hotel is almost 40 years old now, the rooms are quite spacious, and I enjoyed sitting and relaxing on the large couch and had a great sleep on the wide king bed. However, I did notice some very short strands of hair on the pillow even before I laid down, which makes me wonder if the pillowcase had been washed in between guests. During the daytime, the warm sunlight lit up the surrounding colonial buildings well (CHIJMES, Raffles Hotel etc) and it made for great pictures that I managed to shoot from the balcony of the room. Having stayed at the sister property-- Fairmont Hotel before, I was a little disappointed that the toiletries were of a seemingly ordinary brand, as opposed to LeLabo used at Fairmont which is usually similarly priced but more luxurious. I feel that the minibar area can be upgraded, since currently it looks dark and rather out of place as compared to the rest of the well decorated room. Nespresso and TWG Tea were available, while oddly enough the minibar was empty. At the Fairmont for comparison, there is an overengineered but fully stocked minibar with sensors that will detect the drink leaving the fridge and exorbitant charges will be applied. The room also felt slightly older - Some nicks on the wall, frames etc, as I learned that Swissotel was last renovated in 2019 while Fairmont was renovated slightly later. The USB-A ports also gave away the room's age. There seemed to be rather few charging plugs available for such a large room. Location of the hotel is superb, with convenient transport downstairs via the MRT and it is easy to get a Grabcar. It is also connected to the shopper's paradise, Raffles City Shopping Mall. Singapore faces an acute manpower shortage in the hotel and hospitality industry, but I never once felt service was an issue here. The reception and concierge were amply staffed, staff were friendly and could be seen proactively helping guests with their luggage. I also did not have to wait to check in/out. There is a large gym on the property, raved about by other reviews, but I did not visit it since it is on the Fairmont side of the hotel [quite a walk away] and I got lost trying to find it. Lastly, I could not resist visiting the Skai Restaurant which Swissotel is most known for since it is among the tallest restaurants in Singapore -- taller than Marina Bay Sands. It is located on the 70th floor of the hotel and I had a 3-course lunch there. Service was great as to be expected, but prices are steep - if you don't have the 30% Accor Plus discount. While the food was alright, the view was simply superb since it is unblocked on all sides. I would recommend visiting just for the view, but I heard that there could be a minimum order of 1 main course needed to enter. Overall, nitpicking aside, the Swissotel is one of the better 5 star hotels in Singapore and a great choice for business travellers. Asides from the not so clean pillow I could not find any other major faults. However, since Fairmont and Swissotel are both usually similarly priced at $400+, and having stayed at both before, I would recommend the Fairmont over the Swissotel since it offers a slightly more luxurious experience for not that much more.

Lokalizacja jest świetna, co do tego nie ma wątpliwości. A jeśli chodzi o inne udogodnienia, jak to ująć? W końcu jest to apartament. Na pewno nie tak dobry jak hotel, ale w tej cenie odpowiada obsłudze i dogodnej lokalizacji. Większość recepcjonistek, które spotkałem, nie mówiła po chińsku, ale byliby bardzo mili, mogąc rozwiązać z Tobą Twoje problemy. W B2 jest supermarket. Kupowanie wody i owoców nie jest drogie. B1 ma dużo jedzenia, a ceny są przystępne.

Booked 3D2N staycay for my child and her friend. Generally Pullman rocked the youthful vibes in the common areas. Service staff are polite. Hotel is small, with basic facilities, and well located between two MRT stations - Somerset and Orchard. No sheltered connection to next building, please bring umbrella. Room was quite disappointing as it looks dated, and very far off from the vibe in the common area. Aside from the aesthetics, we did not stay the 2nd night as my daughter and her friend were sneezing and had hives after the first night. May be down to dust etc. For the price, the room definitely could be better.

I had a truly pleasant stay at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was seamless and efficient, thanks to the warm and friendly assistance of Miss Asmah at the front desk. She made me feel welcome right away. My experience at Latitude was equally enjoyable—the food and ambience were complemented by a stunning view of the yachts docked just alongside, creating a uniquely relaxing atmosphere. A special compliment also goes to the housekeeping team, in particular, Ms Kalai, for her honesty and attentiveness. I had accidentally left my laptop charger in the room after checking out, and she ensured it was safely kept until I returned to collect it. That level of care and professionalism is truly commendable. Overall, the service and hospitality at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay by the marina.
