"This is a hidden gem! Brissago with only 5 minutes away from Locarno and Ascona, is settled in a lush tiny bay. The hotel itself is adjacent to the water and built in a traditional italian landhouse style with an indoor and a large outdoor pool (and aircon everywhere). We had both breakfast, a large choice of fresh made individual items, and dinner with homemade italien delikatessen. Christian and Maria both made our morning and evening with their heartfelt service. We also got to meet the managment couple who seemed to be around all day long. We will be back and let me tell you my fellow americans: Skip Locarno and Ascona and Rest assured, Brissago has it all."
