"Absolutely outstanding stay. The room and all hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms amenities were very good, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, towelling robes, extra blanket and pillows, fridge, lots of coffee and tea and milk with a coffee pod machine too. Water in fridge. Amazing views from the bedroom AND bathroom. Tv choice was excellent with Netflix etc Could not fault. The breakfast was out of this world!!!!! First class service and food. Loads of choice Will definitely stay there again and ONLY there from now on Thank you to Jane who checked us in. Lovely lady and very helpful indeed."

"Honestly, all the hotels in this small town are close to the attractions, but Crescent really is in the heart of it. The breakfast is good; try to go early to beat the crowd, definitely don't miss it. I found two blonde hairs in the room, but overall, the cleanliness was acceptable. I accidentally pulled the emergency alarm in the bathroom, but no one came to assist for over 8 minutes. I had to go to the front desk myself to ask a staff member to turn it off. If you're traveling with elderly people, please keep this in mind. Also, I highly recommend paying extra to use the spa facilities; otherwise, staying at this hotel wouldn't make much sense, as guests don't have access to the pool. Unfortunately, the Roman-style baths in the basement were under maintenance when I visited, and the indoor baths on the second floor were too stuffy, while the outdoor baths were so windy it gave me a headache."

"Visiting for night at the Opera House. Well located hotel with parking on site and road parking too. Located within 5 minute walk of the centre of the town. Slightly dated interior but clean and tidy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was good and the breakfast was plentiful."

"Niesamowite pobyt pierwszy w nieruchomości YHA. Nie byłem pewien, czego oczekiwać, ale powitanie było wybitne od kogokolwiek, kto jest na służbie około 8:00. Śniadanie było doskonałe i pracownicy rano tak samo przyjazne. Było to trochę hałas, ale nic nie mogliśmy z tym poradzić i oczekiwano z rodzinami pobytu."

"The new management of this pub have really turned things around. A lovely warm welcome from Sarah and her team and great sevice. Then pub is warm and cosy with a friendly atmosphere. Great range of beers and other drinks. We had New Year's Day lunch and the food was excellent. Really recommend the steak and ale pie and the black and blue burger. All good value. This pub is dog friendly and even has blankets and toys for canine visitors."

"Stayed at the Queen's Head hotel over the weekend due to attending a concert at Buxton Opera House. We were really well looked after and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean , warm and welcoming. Whilst there is no on-site parking, there is parking in the market place only a minutes walk away which was easy to access. Thank you for an enjoyable stay."
