"The place was incredibly simple, the service was EXTREMELY friendly, but sadly the heating was not on so we had to use a duvet that had something that bit us all over. Since we already paid the reservation in advance there was nothing we could do. The place was overall clean, which surprised us with the bugs."

Extremely hot and noisy (road and other guests). I was also eaten alive by mosquitoes and other bugs. Breakfast is farcical - read the other reviews. I would advise people not to stay here despite the good location. "

"This cosy hotel was perfect for us on a recent walking holiday. Our room had a splendid view of the mountains and was clean and comfortable. Food at dinner was fabulous, interesting, varied and good quality, way above our expectations. Breakfast was excellent too, good buffet choices but eggs & omelettes etc to order as well. Hotel happy to cater for dietary restrictions. All staff without exception were friendly and efficient. Good, small bar with delightful outside seating. Great base for walking/hiking and just a 5 min walk into town where there are a handful of good places for meals (if you fancy a change from the hotel) plus shops for this and that."

"I brought 24 mountain walkers to Arenas and we stayed in this venue for 5 nights , full board. Without exception it was superb. The quality of the food would leave many well established houses in the shade both for quality and presentation. Sammy & his team are to be commended & we will be back.Keep the secret . ‍"

"Back again for the fourth or fifth time. Room clean and tidy and ample big enough for three messy blokes. Great welcome from Jim. Food, yet again, superb as is location. Short walk into Las Arenas if you want a change. Can’t recommend this place enough."

"We stayed there for 2 nights. The room was spacious enough and the bathroom was excellent. The mattress is very good for a good night of sleep. Dinner at the hotel are a most have. We had 2 very good experience with some very good dishes that are tradicional and modern at the same time. The breakfast is a typical Spanish breakfast (so expect some embutidos) with orange juice, good coffee fruits and some croissant cake. Very good and will come back next time."
