"The place was incredibly simple, the service was EXTREMELY friendly, but sadly the heating was not on so we had to use a duvet that had something that bit us all over. Since we already paid the reservation in advance there was nothing we could do. The place was overall clean, which surprised us with the bugs."

Extremely hot and noisy (road and other guests). I was also eaten alive by mosquitoes and other bugs. Breakfast is farcical - read the other reviews. I would advise people not to stay here despite the good location. "

"Fantastic Food (cooked by son of owner) served in restaurant with lovely view to highest mountain in the Picos, after which the Hotel is named..Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms had everything we needed and there was plenty of parking. We really enjoyed our stay here in beautiful surroundings. We will definitely comeback again"

"I brought 24 mountain walkers to Arenas and we stayed in this venue for 5 nights , full board. Without exception it was superb. The quality of the food would leave many well established houses in the shade both for quality and presentation. Sammy & his team are to be commended & we will be back.Keep the secret . ‍"

"Such a wonderful hotel in the middle of the stunning Picos de Europa mountains. Hotel doesn't feel like the right word because it is small, cozy, and comfortable and felt more like a bed and breakfast. The views were amazing. My room was spacious and updated. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I loved the cows and horses roaming around outside. Great breakfast options every morning and very upscale food for dinner. The staff and owners are so kind and accommodating. I loved the patio on the back to sit with a drink and watch the mountains. Also loved the bar area in the lower level. I would absolutely come back and stay here again!"

"The hotel is in a good location not too far from Arenas and has free parking so no worries about finding a parking spot. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is quite big. What really made me appreciate the stay was the small details, the branded bathroom products from Rituals, the welcoming tray with filtered water, coffee machine. This hotel is better than some 4 star hotels and seems to be under good management. What I would suggest is getting a better wifi to not disconnect you every 40 minutes. A trash bin in the room with a trash bag. A kettle to make tea."
