"Great location with an indoor parking garage, shared with the ibis next door, and reasonably priced. Most of the city's main attractions are within walking distance. Mercure hotels opened after 2020 in Europe generally maintain a good standard. The rooms are quite spacious, and the air conditioning works excellently. The nighttime view of the harbor entrance is stunning, and the 1.2kg steak at the little bar across the way was fantastic! If you're looking for an overnight stopover, this is definitely a good choice."

"We used this as a base for our exploration of Normandy including Mont St Michel, and it was a good choice for us. As a family of 4 needing a fitness room, this was one of the most affordable choices. Only one of our party was a breakfast eater so we saved a little bit by choosing the selection of one breakfast option when we booked the two connecting rooms on trip.com. The hotel honored the price and didn't ask for an additional payment, though I had informed them in advance. Adding additional breakfasts would have cost $15 per person. The breakfast was good with a wide variety of options - but my party chose to sleep in. The room was fairly basic with plastic chairs and table/stools. The room was clean. The queen bed was a foam bed was more comfortable than the single beds which were just a foam topper. The staff were friendly and provided snacks - danishes and popcorn in the afternoon. There is no ice machine, but one can get cups of ice from the front desk. The fitness room was substandard. The elliptical was pretty flimsy. The bike was ok though. There's a shopping mall right next door with a supermarket and restaurants. Its closed on Sunday's though. Parking is available in the mall for a fee. The hotel can give a parking voucher covering the times from 11 pm to 6 am. All in all, the hotel was a good choice for us."

"Ideally located hotel, city center, close to everything. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are rather simple (even too simple), the tam tam stools as bedside tables are not very practical. No kettle in the rooms, not even on each floor, you have to go down to the hotel lobby to get a coffee (early wake-up call). The bathroom could do with more light and a magnifying mirror."

"My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France."
