"My experience this time was extremely poor. There happened to be an event at the hotel, and there were only two staff members at the front desk, resulting in a very long check-in line. Because my car is taller than 1.9 meters, I had to park in the outdoor parking lot, and each time I needed to enter, I had to call the front desk for access. However, because the front desk was very busy, my call was automatically transferred to the overseas service team. When I stopped my car at the entrance of the parking lot and called them to gain access, I was asked questions for five minutes to verify that I was a customer staying at the hotel. There were three children and an elderly person in the car. If I had not interrupted them, my car would have been blocked at the parking entrance for even longer. To make matters worse, because my car was blocking the entrance, drivers behind me kept honking their horns. I believe the hotel needs to assign more staff to the front desk during peak times and review their processes to make the use of the outdoor parking lot smoother for guests. Because of this very unpleasant experience, as an IHG member, I will not choose this hotel again in the future."

"Wow, what can I say but Wow! This exceeded all expectations, could not fault a thing. We stayed in the Giraffe room and there were giraffes at our window from the minute we walked in, then we got to feed them from our balcony. The tour around the zoo was fabulous, thanks John. We even got to pat a Rhino. Dinner was superb and our waitress Charly was so lovely. We even had white lions asleep (behind glass at the end of the table). Thanks Jamala, what an experience."

"The front desk service was extremely arrogant. We arrived late and were given a room on the lowest floor. Without informing us, they gave us a disabled person's room. They were very impatient when we asked to change rooms. There was no explanation during check-in. The room was filthy. When visiting Canberra, I recommend choosing Accor or Marriott-affiliated hotels – reputable brands offer better guarantees."
