"We stayed in the "lighthouse" as a novelty. It had 2 floors. The bedroom was the upper floor with an A/C unit that was sufficient for that area. The lower level had a ceiling fan, couch, coffee table and bathroom. There was a slider out to a deck. The included breakfast was good. There was a little beach but the water stayed churned up from all of the taxi boat traffic. The staircase to the second floor is steep and, in my opinion, dangerous. There was no advanced notice about the staircase. It would be difficult if a person had mobility issues and dangerous for children. The bathroom, while big enough, had issues. The plastic toilet seat was too small and moved all around. The shower had a very "interesting" repair that seemed unsafe. It looked like wires hanging near the shower head with the ends wrapped in black tape. Additionally, there was a repair to the tile with a black substance that ran down the wall when the shower was on causing us to stand in the black water or hug the side to avoid it."

"Our stay at Bocas Beachfront Lodge exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff, who genuinely went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is absolutely beautiful. Waking up to the ocean every morning and being just steps from the beach made for a relaxing and unforgettable experience. The property has a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere that perfectly captures the charm of Bocas del Toro. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the islands. If you're interested in surfing, this is an excellent place to stay. The lodge is conveniently located near some of the area's best surf breaks, making it easy to get out on the water while still enjoying a comfortable and relaxing home base. What truly made this place special, though, was the hospitality. The owners and staff created an atmosphere that felt warm, personal, and welcoming, making us feel more like guests in a home than visitors at a hotel. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Bocas Beachfront Lodge to anyone visiting Bocas del Toro. It was the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, outstanding hospitality and a relaxing island experience."

Casa Acuario Boutique Hotel ★★★

"Byłem w Casa Acuario w sierpniu z dwoma przyjaciółmi z powrotem w szkole podstawowej, na specjalny wielki rok urodzinowy dla nas wszystkich - 60 to jest dokładnie. Casa Acuario było wszystkim czego mieliśmy nadzieję i więcej. Miejsce jest wybitne. Można pływać i snorkela bezpośrednio po stronie hotelu, a widoki są wspaniałe. Jest to bardzo szybki wycieczka taksówki wodnej z Bocas Town, a także szybki i scenicowy spacer z tam do doskonałych miejsc do jedzenia, jak Bibi's i Coquito Beach bar. Pokoje są bardzo przestronne i mają wszystko, czego potrzebujesz - kawa, woda, mikrofalówka itp. Są one również piękne urządzone, a widoki z balkonów nie można pokonać. Restauracja jest yummy, a pracownicy są bardzo ciepłe i przytulne. Wszystkie obszary hotelu są bardzo czyste, a uwaga na szczegóły z sztuką i zieleni jest bardzo spokojna i relaksująca. Po godzinach restauracji znajduje się obszar samoobsługowy z wszystkimi napojami i przekąskami, które można by potrzebować. Mandy i JP są niesamowitymi gospodarzami. Są niesamowicie odpowiedzialni i szczęśliwi, aby odpowiedzieć na wszelkiego rodzaju pytania. Ich miłość do nieruchomości i środowiska lokalnego była bardzo jasna. Byłem w wielu, wielu miejscach przez lata i Casa Acuario jest prawdziwym standoutem. Nie mogę czekać, aż wrócę i zostanę dłużej! Dziękuję Mandy i JP!"
