Hotel Suisse

"I shared a very small twin room - number 101. It’s only just big enough to walk around the bed. The bed was very comfortable and the plug beside the bed very handy. We only had 1 pillow each but more were quickly delivered to the room once we had asked. Clothes storage was limited with no drawers and only 6 hangers between 2 of us. There was a nice shower over the bath and no shortage of hot water, though the window and outside wall underneath it were constantly covered in condensation which ran across the bathroom floor towards the door and made the toilet roll wet if we left it on the wall mounted holder. The room was warm enough, but we struggled to get the radiator hot enough to dry our towels each day. This room is right at the top of the stairs so very handy if you forget anything, but right above the bar and its speakers which was quite loud on a couple of evenings. Breakfast each morning was very tasty with a small cooked selection (sausages, crispy bacon and scrambled egg) as well as the usual continental selection. Afternoon tea which is served at 4pm was a real treat with a different variety of cakes on offer each day along with tea and coffee. The ski/boot room which opens directly onto the car park is a good size and very handy. The bar is very popular with locals and reasonably priced (CHF 6 for a glass of house red). The staff in this hotel could not have been more friendly and helpful."

Hôtel National Resort & Spa

"An absolutely wonderful hotel! They upgraded our room to a mountain view and it was such a treat to wake up every morning to a wonderful mountain view. The room had a balcony where we had our coffee each morning surrounded by and intaking the beautiful scenery before we went down for breakfast. The staff is amazing. They anticipate your needs and are very helpful. The hotel is very clean and when we come to Switzerland again, this will be our hotel choice!"

Hotel le White - le 42 Restaurant

"We stayed here as part of a rail holiday with Great Rail Journeys. The hotel was fabulous. We had a wonderful welcome at the door after a very long journey. Our room was very contemporary and had everything you needed. Complimentary toiletries, tissues, shower sponge and a very useful shoe horn! There was free Wi-Fi a fridge with complimentary water and that was restocked every day. Coffee machine and tea and coffee. We asked for fresh milk for tea every evening. The breakfast was outstanding and served in a room with views of the mountains. Various cereals, warm bread, toaster, nuts etc, hot food and even a gadget to boil your own egg!. Also cheese and cooked meat. The evening meal was equally good. The staff were so friendly. If you are booked to stay here you are in for a treat."

Guest House du Grand Paradis - on Piste

"The Guest House "Grand Paradis" is located directly on the valley run and is a nice, small guest house. Given the age of the house, it is a bit noisy, but that's the charm of an "old" house. We were a group of 9 people and very satisfied. The service in the restaurant was very good and friendly."

Palladium de Champéry

"Champéry, Switzerland I often stay at the Palladium De Champéry. The rooms are simple but functional and clean, the breakfast is good, it is near cable car station and the supermarket COOP. I had a good time here."
