This booking was done very late and the hotel staff was kind enough to help arrange our late arrival by sending access codes to doors and safes. The price was very good for the time of year and the rooms were very accessible. Perfect little location too with great views! Great spaces all around the hotel too with roof top terraces."

"An absolute pleasure to spend one night in this fantastic hotel. Opened three years ago after a four year refurbishment the quality of the building, spectacular reception area, public rooms, and lovely bedrooms is exceptional. Attention to detail in design and execution is outstanding, with particular commendation for the inlaid wooden doors and cabinetry in the comfortable bedrooms. Reception staff charming, bags taken from car to room and car valet parked, and returned in anticipation of our leaving on morning of departure. Breakfast was a delight, high quality and served on the shaded terrace, probably the best breakfast I have had in France. Unfortunately for us the Michelin star restaurant, Names, was closed but we ate in the separate brasserie in the grounds, separate review details the top notch experience we had. I have no qualms in unequivocally recommending this property, it really is outstanding."

"Spędziliśmy jedną noc w Domaine des Etangs w uprzejmości pana i pani Smith. Zostaliśmy na Marsie, który był przestronnym pokojem w jednej z wież zamkowych. Pokój był ogromny, czuł się jak mieszkanie, by być szczerym! King size bed with a window overlooking one of the many lakes. Łazienka i duży prysznic. Herbata/kofein, lodówka, suszarka do włosów, telewizor, głośnik Bluetooth. basen był bardzo dobry rozmiar i godziny otwarcia są przyzwoite. Na górnym piętrze jest również pokój gier. Jeliśmy w Dyadesie i jedzenie i picie było doskonałe, jak również usługa. Śniadanie następnego dnia było również wspaniałe. Bardzo dobry wybór bufetu z wieloma opcjami. Zasady są ogromne z tak wiele do zbadania. Wynajem rowerów (ręcznie lub elektrycznie) są darmowe, jest również row łodzi można użyć do zbadania jezior. Wszyscy pracownicy byli brilliant. Specjalne wspomnienie Charlie za jego ciepłe powitanie i Nina za pomoc nam również. Nicola, Anton i Olivia na kolacji były doskonałe, jak Harrison na śniadanie i Emile na basenie. Specjalne wspomnienie również Jean Francois na historię wycieczki w zamku i okolicy. Hotel jest niesamowity, wygląda oszałamiająco i jest tak wiele do oglądania i robić w terenie. Kochaliśmy go i już planujemy nasz powrót!"

"This was an overnight stopover driving through from Spain to Paris... It was as expected. The receptionist was very nice and helpful and the accommodation had been recently improved. A little outside of town, and the locals (at the corner shop) were to be avoided."

To be honest the doorman on the gate sets the tone for the entire hotel, extremely rude. I have stayed in numerous 5 star hotels that are far superior with wonderful staff. Stay somewhere else in Biarritz!"

"Off to a great start when 6 months before our stay, our hostess Minka was so helpful with booking local restaurants and a brilliant taxi company which were likely to be busy due to it being Circuit des Remparts week in Angouleme. On arrival we were able to park securely and sit down with a few local beers. Over the following two days Minka gave us some more great assistance including stepping up in the face of a medical emergency. She really is a fantastic hostess, both personable and efficient at the same time; it seems nothing is beyond her! The hotel rooms, including a residents' lounge are well presented in a style that matches the building and the wifi works well. A beautiful hotel, very capably run and we will definitely book again if we are travelling that way. Recommended."
