"In the grim city of Chemnitz, the hotel doesn't help keep morale high. From the moment you check in in the cramped lobby, not to mention the freight elevator, you can feel a genuine DDR vibe. The surprisingly large room is offset by a Lilliputian bathroom. No air conditioning (fan!), no espresso maker, but a huge TV for watching (!?) local programs. The restaurant is a little cramped, but the spaetzle were tasty, and there's even a wine list. The city center isn't far, but it's best reached on foot. An interesting experience for anyone nostalgic for real socialism."

Hałas dochodził do północy z powodu głośnych rozmów i śmiechu, uniemożliwiając zaśnięcie. Można by oczekiwać, że personel będzie przypominał gościom o zachowaniu ciszy po 22:00. Goście trzaskają drzwiami przez cały czas, a na korytarzach słychać głośne rozmowy. Śniadanie jest bardzo dobre i oferuje mnóstwo wszystkiego. Obsługa pokoju dostępna jest w recepcji. Dostępny jest duży parking. W lobby dostępny jest bezpłatny dystrybutor wody smakowej."

"The hotel is very spacious, with sofas and desks and chairs. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train station, though the cobblestone path can be a little difficult to walk on with luggage. There's a pretty good Chinese restaurant near the hotel; those craving authentic Chinese food can give it a try. Next to the hotel is a library-like area, a nice spot for taking photos."
