It's a shame the swimming pool wasn't usable – it was a cold-water pool. I highly recommend this hotel if you're in the Chuxiong area. Speaking of Chuxiong, you absolutely must visit China's First Pagoda (Diyi Fota); it's incredibly worthwhile. However, the Ancient Yi Town (Yiren Guzhen) was quite disappointing. It didn't feel like an ancient town at all, just a messy collection of barbecue stalls that looked neither traditional nor modern."
