"I had called a week earlier to request 1st floor since I am claustrophobic & can’t do elevators & when I checked in they gave me a 2nd floor room but when asked they switched me to a 1st floor room. The 1st room the TV did not work but the 2nd room the TV worked but the garbage can was half full if garbage & the lights on each side of the bathroom mirror just flickered & would not come on. The thermostat is very confusing & hard to figure out & we had the front desk guy come to room but it didn’t help so they need to figure that out or put instructions next to thermostat to explain how to use. It shouldn’t be as difficult as it was. We couldn’t figure out if the cool or heat was on. The room was chilly & we couldn’t get it warmed up. The next morning I went out to breakfast & came back to my room to get my things at 10:30 & was locked out so I had to go to front desk & waited 6 minutes for someone so they could fix my key to get back in room to get my things & check out. The hotel is beautiful & very clean. I am pretty sure I won’t go back to this hotel for awhile."

"Było nam bardzo zawiedzione.Grzejnik pokoi #113 był bardzo głośny, przypomniał nam o samolocie 747 Całą noc. Z łożyskiem wychodziłem z dzwonkiem. Zasnąłem z wyczerpania. Wierz mi, byliśmy już zmęczeni podróżowaniem z Houston, Teksasu. Kiedy zgłosiliśmy wybitny głośny pokój, powiedzieli, że są świadomi tej kwestii. Był to bardzo powszechny problem. Mówiąc to, wybralibyśmy inny hotel z nowoczesnym pomieszczeniem i lepszym ogrzewaniem elektrycznym. Inną rzeczą, śniadanie było zimne (jajka) i maszyna do pieczenia nie działa. Z ograniczonymi przedmiotami na zdrowej liście. Co za rozczarowanie!! Od teraz będziemy mieszkać w Ames w Gateway Hotel."
