"Absolutna przyjemność spędzić jedną noc w tym fantastycznym hotelu. Otworzono trzy lata temu po czterech latach odnowienia jakości budynku, spektakularny receptacyjny, pokoi publicznych, a także uroczych sypialni jest wyjątkowa. Uwaga na szczegóły w projektowaniu i wykonaniu jest wybitna, ze szczególnym pochwałą dla wbudowanych drewnianych drzwi i szafy w komfortowych sypialniach. Pracownicy recepcji urok, torby zabrane z samochodu do pokoju i walizek samochodowy zaparkowane i wróciły w oczekiwaniu na nasz wyjazd rano odjazdu. Śniadanie było przyjemne, wysokiej jakości i służył na zacienionym tarasie, prawdopodobnie najlepszy śniadanie, jakie miałem we Francji. Niestety dla nas restauracja Michelin star, Names, była zamknięta, ale zjadliśmy w oddzielnej brasserii z gruntów, oddzielne szczegóły przeglądu najlepsze doświadczenie mamy. Nie mam żadnych wagi w niejasnym poleceniu tej nieruchomości, jest naprawdę wybitny."

"The stay experience exceeded expectations! The hotel staff is warm and thoughtful, and the whole process of guidance from entering the door to staying. The rooms are modern and elegant, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom facilities are high-end and the wet and dry are separated. Daily cleaning is meticulous and even the corners are spotless. The location is excellent and the surrounding dining and shopping are convenient. I especially like the concierge to take the initiative to help plan the tourist route and also presented a special souvenir. It is highly recommended for business travel or leisure vacation, and I will definitely choose again next time I come to this city!"

"Car problems led to an unplanned stop in Cognac and we found this place on foot. They have ground floor rooms on a delightful courtyard and the effect is charming. The room was comfortable and the staff went to great trouble to try to solve our problem. Usual good French breakfast too."

"Since we stayed off-season, breakfast was not a buffet, but rather was ordered at check-in. The portions were small so I recommend ordering what you like. The location was great, within a 15-minute walk of the city center and a 5-minute walk to Chateau Cognac and Hennessy. The spacious grounds made for a relaxing stay."

"This is a really hard review to write because the actual hotel, the breakfast and most of the staff were excellent. The room was lovely and air conditioned which was a god send in the 30° plus heat. It was great value for money. I would have given it 5 out of 5 but for one person and that was the horrid, intimidating night porter. I know people often say that French people can be dismissive if you attempt to speak in French but I've never really found this and we've holidayed in France a great deal as my husband is fluent. On our first night at the hotel we didn't have any water in our room so after getting in from meeting friends for dinner and drinks I went downstairs to ask for some water. I asked in French and I know it's not perfect but I was going to give it a go but the rudeness I was greeted with was on another level. Not only was he rude but he was also intimidating and obviously quite liked the power of no one else being around, it being late at night and he obviously felt very much in control of the situation. He told me my French was appalling and that I shouldn't even try to speak to him because it was hideous to him. I was pretty shocked but asked for water in English and he was really annoyed and complaining that he had to go and get it for me. He did get it because I wasn't going to back down but the whole thing was really upsetting. Interestingly I was there for a wedding being held near by and my husband told the mother of the bride who said she'd had exactly the same experience from presumably the same man when she had stayed there for one night before going on to the wedding venue. She had tried to ask about the hotel being locked as her son was arriving late due to train cancellation. She is a French speaker so was horrified to be told that her French was awful and she shouldn't bother and to her questions not really being answered. I wonder if this nasty person would have done the same if we'd been men? I very much doubt it. Hotel Heritage you have a lovely hotel, your front of house day staff could not be more helpful, your breakfast was incredible and your rooms were lovely but what are you going to do about this really vile person who is discrediting your establishment? You have a duty of care to your customers not to be intimidated or humiliated by your staff. "
