Hotele w: Cologne City Center, Kolonia

A basic single room near Cologne Cathedral, around 5 minutes walking distance from the Cologne Central Station. The check in process is easy (through their app), however, there's some issues with loading the page, so I ended up having to do it again at the front desk. The room is quite small, no proper table and chair for seating area, but has a small ensuite toilet. The heater is working well, as well as the hot shower water. There's no kettle provided in the hotel, and coffee with a fee at the G floor. There's elevator/lift in the hotel. This particular room doesn't have the cathedral view. It's a conveniently located hostel, so if you're on a budget trip, you may consider station here. They also provide luggage storage service before check-in & after check out.

One night stay so all good with close to station. Room very small so bed was very small. Smallest double bed we got in our 5 weeks Europe trip. Breakfast was good and that’s why we booked so not disappointed. Got room early so we got more time to walk around town.  Fruits and water at reception. 

The location is nice and in the heart of the shopping center, 10 minutes walk to the Cologne Central Station and the famous Cathedral, the room was clean, amenities was good, only in the night we felt cold even though the heater was on, but luckily we got extra blanket 😊😊, all of the staff are really friendly and helpful, we were allowed to have early checkin around 11.39AM, otherwise the customers can also let the luggage by the receptionist before the checkin time.

It's close to Cologne Cathedral, and you could even see a little bit of the top of the cathedral from the balcony! Because the room was spacious, the heating wasn't very effective. Also, the entrance to the hotel was a little hard to find. There was a supermarket called REWE downstairs. I was able to use hot water from the kettle in what seemed to be the breakfast area in front of the front desk.

The Dorint hotel is in a very central location with wonderful views of the cathedral. The staff were very professional (from pre-trip communication to check-in and check-out) and super friendly. The hotel is huge and has lifts to all floors. The room was large with ample furniture (larger bed than usual, built-in suitcase stand, full desk, armchair) and the decor a palimpsest of older furniture zhuzhed up with wall coverings, a decorative vase, floor lights in addition to bedside table lamps and desk light, etc. There was even a kettle to make tea and coffee, and a fridge, which was much appreciated! The bed was on the soft side and the pillows rather thin and fluffy, which was not quite to my liking. However, the blackout curtains and well-insulated windows made for a quiet night's sleep, despite the roads and building sites outside. It was still possible to open one window to let fresh air in. All in all, a very good experience.

It's about a 12 minute walk to the Cologne cathedral. The hotel is on the upscale side, has great amenities. A Nespresso machine w pods in the room and a few included minibar items. There are also qtips etc. The soap and shampoo smell very nice. The room is very spacious. I would just get rid of the office chairs without wheels. They also have a very uncomfortable design where the seat is tilted forward, do you slide forward when you sit in it. Also, the sheets are threadbare - I literally saw a hole in the sheets - doesn't really suit a hotel their caliber. Breakfast is excellent. Nice teas and coffee. Plenty of sweet and savory options, smoked salmon etc. I'd stay again.

The hotel is very nice and spacious, nice glass building, a lot of restaurants, good pool, useless gym. Personnel is very kind and friendly. Food is great.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Great location. Our room was looking out at the church .. Beautiful

Замечательный отель, все очень понравилось. Современная обстановка, все очень чисто, функционально. Все новое, удобное. Белье в номере чистое, кровать удобная. Обслуживание доброжелательное, заселение быстрое.

清掃がとっても丁寧です。 建物や設備が特別新しいわけではありませんが、清掃がしっかりされてるので、清潔でとても快適に過ごせました。 部屋の広さもホテル公式の写真より広く感じました。 一般的に実物より写真の方がよく見えることが多いですが、このホテルは珍しく写真の印象より実物の方が良かったです。笑 ヨーロッパでホテル数軒泊まりましたが、断トツでこのホテルが1番清潔でした。日本の清掃のクオリティに慣れているとヨーロッパでがっかりすることばかりでしたが、ここだけは素晴らしかったです。(ヨーロッパではなかなかお目にかかれない使い捨てスリッパがありました!) だだ1点だけ注意が必要です。 チェックインの際にフロントに人がいない可能性があるので、その際はホテルへ電話する必要があります。そこだけは事前に把握なさってください。 私はチェックインの際、通話手段を持ち合わせてなく失敗しました。 対応してくれたスタッフの方は親切でフレンドリーな方でしたよ。 チェックインの仕方だけ気をつけていればとても良いホテルなので、またケルンを訪れることがあれば利用しようかと思います。
