There was a large market across the street where you could buy local specialties. "This is a small, cozy, and unpretentious hotel. The rooms are clean, with soft, warm beds and plenty of pillows. The breakfast spread is compact and just right, not overly luxurious, but comes with delicious coffee and refreshing fruit juice. The reception staff are very helpful. The location is great, close to the square and tourist attractions, and feels safe. I do have a suggestion for improvement regarding housekeeping preparing the rooms. During my first stay before going up to Machu Picchu, the sugar for the drinks wasn't refilled. And during my second stay after coming down from Machu Picchu, there was a significant amount of feces left in the toilet, with a foul odor, as if housekeeping hadn't attended to it. This area needs to be checked, strictly monitored, and the good service quality maintained. I wouldn't want this small issue to negatively impact all the other positive aspects of the hotel. If I have the chance, I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel."

The views from the hotel were unbelievable; the breakfast was great; the rooms were very clean and has all the comforts you'd need. And don't miss the llamas in the backyard! The restaurant staff didn't seem very experienced but it was sufficient."

I had Walter escorted me to my room and tell the details about the hotel and the nearby kusikancha which I can see from the rooftop windows. It is in walking distance from every historical sites. The oxygen supplement and coca tea just in case you suffer the altitude sickness, luckily I haven't used it."

I was able to get any last minute items that I needed from there, like water, sunblock, insect repellent, etc. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was light but ok. And the internet can definitely be better, but based on the location (Cuzco) you can’t ask for much. Right? The staff people were friendly and helpful when needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city."
