"I stayed at Paradise Dambulla for one full week, and honestly, I can say this property’s biggest strength is its people. I have travelled quite a bit, but the warmth, kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care shown by the staff here is something very special. It never felt artificial or forced. Every single day, the team made the experience comfortable, relaxing, and memorable. Special thanks to Nikesha, Waruna, and Feros from the Front Office Department, Tharusha from Housekeeping, and the amazing F&B team including Damith, Lahiru, Thanuja and Dhanushka. Each of them created such a positive impression during my stay. A very special mention must go to Ranga, the F&B Manager. He is truly an asset to the hotel. Had a lovely small talk. An all rounder, highly professional, always attentive, and at the same time a genuinely kind gentleman who seems to support every department whenever needed. You can clearly see the teamwork among the staff, and I believe that is one of the main success stories behind this hotel. The rooms were excellent, the atmosphere peaceful, and the location itself is beautiful and relaxing. During the entire week, I genuinely could not point out a single bad experience. Paradise Dambulla should be proud of its people because they are the real highlight of this property and the reason guests will return again and again. Most definitely visiting again soon. Highly recommended!"

"I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Sigiriya Kingdom Resort. I made a confirmed booking at an agreed rate, but later—especially in the middle of the night—the hotel attempted to change the price. This is unacceptable and feels highly unprofessional. A confirmed booking should be honored, not altered under pressure. What made the situation worse was the lack of proper customer support. When I raised the issue, no clear explanation or reasonable solution was provided. Instead, my time was wasted with poor communication and no accountability from the staff. This kind of behavior damages trust and creates a very negative experience for guests. Transparency and honesty are basic expectations in hospitality, and unfortunately, this hotel failed in both. I strongly urge future guests to double-check all booking details and be cautious. I also hope the management takes this seriously and improves their customer service and ethical standards. And I'm traveling from almost 400 km away from their destination. Thats how they treated me. Disappointed and unacceptable"

"An enjoyable two nights spent here. Very pleasant landscaping- trees and foliage. The rooms were roomy, comfortable with mosquito nets, tea and coffee facilities, wi fi access. Sanjeevani and her team made us the most delicious breakfasts- a wide assortment of Lankan food (stringhoppers, roti, godamba, pancake, toast, curries and sambols, fruit salad). Afternoons were spent relaxing by the pool (after climbing Dambulla and Sigiriya ) it was nice to return to a cool and quiet place. Will we return again? Absolutely. Any suggestions? Please no air fresheners in the rooms."

Radziłbym podróżnym, aby wyjaśnili liczbę rzeczy i wagę prania przed zleceniem tego hotelowi. Pranie zostało nam zwrócone częściowo mokre, a skarpetka zniknęła i nigdy jej nie znaleziono. Poproszono nas o zapłatę więcej, ponieważ twierdzili, że nasze pranie przekroczyło wagę. Dobrze byłoby, gdyby poinformowano nas o tym wcześniej. Niestety, koniec pobytu był rozczarowujący z powodu tego incydentu. Kierownik hotelu nie był zbyt profesjonalny w obsłudze sprawy. ☹️"

"Bardzo miły pan, pyszny śniadanie, napoił owoce z ogrodu. Hotel jest wygodnie położony na górze Sigiri. Śniadanie zostanie wysłane po powrocie z góry. Jeśli pójdziesz na wschód słońca, będzie można je zabrać. W pokoju jest wentylator i klimatyzator, wentylator działa cicho i dobrze, nie trzeba klimatyzacji. Niestety, w naszym pokoju śmierdzi wilgocią, prawdopodobnie z łóżek. Nie ma żadnych hałasów z przejeżdżającymi samochodami, ale z beruzami jest w porządku."
