We had a lovely stay. Great location. Clean and very comfortable rooms and we had very large twin beds..so comfy and pillows too. Room 203 had an amazing view and large balcony which we loved. No extra charges for aircon or safe! Breakfast is outstanding..such a choice of fresh and cooked food and a beautiful view from the terrace. Gina and all her family and staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Just as a footnote..if you have mobility issues, walking up the slope from the road to the hotel could be tricky as it's quite steep if you're on foot. However there is loads of room to park your car or bike directly outside the hotel and there is a lift. Swimming pool lovely and clean and pool bar which we didn't use this time as went to the beach (max 10 mins walk away). Very close to supermarket and restaurants..great location and bus stop at the end of the road..easy to get into Corfu town and anywhere else on the island. This was my first time visiting Greece and I had a fantastic first experience at Grecotel Eva Palace. I'll start my review with the positives and then include points that are important for those travelling to the hotel and areas where I feel there could be some improvement. Firstly, I really enjoyed the breakfast. I felt there was a good variety and I always enjoy a hotel breakfast where you can get fresh eggs/pancakes and this was something we had. I didn't book all inclusive/half board and had I stayed longer than 3 nights it would be something I would have regretted (more on this later). The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable (pillows could be a little firmer). The hotel was fairly busy when we booked but every time I went to the pool there were loungers available for us (however people do tend to reserve theirs with a towel). I liked the beach tote and beach towels in the room. There was complimentary sparkling wine (I don't drink so I can't say if this was good) and baklava in the room on check in. The pool was large and I really liked the private beach area also. As a general rule the hotel was very beautiful and clean. There is also the added positive of a complimentary shuttle into corfu town (requires booking in advance - taxi's are quite expensive) If you plan on staying here this hotel is fairly remote so dinner options in the area is limited so I would recommend half board/all inclusive. The roads aren't the safest and I did walk to a nearby hotel on the first night and chose to eat at the sister restaurant on the 2nd night. I did feel that I didn't want to explore the area due to how steep and narrow the roads are and how it isn't pedestrianised in the area. The hotel isn't suitable for people with mobility issues/poor mobility as you have to go down some fairly steep steps to reach the pool and a steep road to the private beach (even though it is close). Areas to improve: We arrived an hour before check in and was told our room wasn't available for early check-in but they would try to get us in the room as early as they could. Whilst waiting we were offered some complimentary lemonade and some water. We ended up getting the room 45 minutes after check-in and there was no communication regarding the delay. We would have been more than happy if we had been offered somewhere to change after the flight so we could use the pool whilst waiting for our room. Whilst breakfast was enjoyable some of the ”hot” food in the buffet was actually cold. Lastly, the pool was very cold so to some this can be refreshing but to others you wouldn't really want to use the pool as you couldn't stay in there for long. Alongside the shuttle there is also a water taxi but the timing for this is very limited - can only leave at 9:30 am and return at 2:30am.

Such a calm, relaxing space. We had a junior swim up suite which overlooks the main hotel and the beach. No traffic noise, just the sound of the sea lapping at the shore. Food is very very tasty and plenty of choice. Staff always have a friendly hello and respond to any requests positively and kindly, definitely 5* teamwork. Free shuttle into town where we had enough time to take a hop on hop off bus and do a bit of jewellery and clothes shopping. I also visited the spa for a signature facial, being the owner of a skin clinic I am extra fussy. I had a relaxing facial firstly and then after the mask, during which I had an arm and hand massage, I then got a harder, stimulating facial massage which I thoroughly enjoyed. A treat for anyone. We came for a relaxing holiday where we could just “be” and not have to make any plans or decisions apart from which book to read next. Well we certainly got that, I will be recommending this peaceful hotel to all of my friends who want a quality rest in beautiful surroundings. I have no doubt we will come again, thank you for having us.

We stayed here for a long weekend in June 2023. We had a beachfront room, very spacious with a sliding door separating the main living area from a twin bedded area, ideal for a family. The room was very well appointed and spacious and clean. The restaurants were all very good, quality of food and choice of wine impressive. The breakfast in particular was very good, it was fairly busy when we went but we never had to wait for a table and the breakfast team were super helpful , friendly and efficient in finding us a table. The breakfast was one of the best that we’ve had, a huge array of hot and cold food, I couldn’t think of anything that wasn’t available. The staff throughout the resort were courteous, friendly and helpful. There are sun beds and parasols on the sandy beach which was clean and tidy. The bar area was also welcoming and well appointed. The hotel is a 10-15 walk from a marina that had a few bars and restaurants and about 10-15 in a taxi into Corfu town which has huge array of eateries, shops, bars etc. There is a water taxi at the jetty on the beach that can take you to a number of restaurants, all of which were wonderful. The only minor criticism I would have is that the concierge team seemed a little clueless, not having any restaurant recommendations or even knowledge of the water taxi service which we found a little odd. George on the front desk came to the rescue with information and help. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel for couples, friends or family and will definitely return.
