"The beach is within walking distance. The room was spacious, sophisticated, and comfortable. There was a little noise from the hallway, but it wasn't too bothersome. There was a kitchen, dishwasher, and microwave, so it was a shame to only stay for one day. There was self-serve drinks available in the lobby, so you could drink coffee and other drinks at any time. The breakfast buffet was also satisfying. I really liked Destin, so I would like to stay at the same hotel when I come again."

"Very well-maintained resort. Very clean and friendly staff. In my opinion, there weren't enough organized activities or restaurant options. There was only one shop; perhaps more shops would be nice. The resort is quite expensive! 🙂"

"I haven't stayed here in years. It was still pretty much the same. Nothing fancy, but a great location and right on the beach without the high rise crowds. The website doesn't tell you that you CANNOT smoke on your private balcony. I am a smoker. One of the main reasons I book a room with a private balcony is so I can step outside and smoke. I understand why they don't have it on their website. They don't want to lose reservations. I would have found another place to stay had I known. I wish they would have blocks of rooms to accommodate all their guest."

"The staff were so friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. Check in and out was quick and easy. So convenient to everything! The hallways and dining was clean and very well maintained. My first room was very clean and the beds and linen was comfortable and so soft. My 2nd room did not disappoint either! Floors were clean, beds and linen was clean, soft and smelt great! I have been here on business for 2 weeks now, going home on the weekends. I can choose any hotel to stay in but I choose this one every time! The atmosphere is friendly and family oriented."

"My family and I stayed at Emerald Grande Harbor Suites on Harborwalk in Destin FL. We stayed in room HS76. There was a loud and constant clanking/rattling noise whenever the a/c unit went off… which was every few minutes. I kindly reported the issue to the front desk a couple times. The slender girl at front desk (with long, kind of curly, brown hair) was cold and unapologetic. It appeared my issue with a/c unit was an inconvenience for her. The hotel staff never fixed the issue and as a result we didn’t sleep well our entire stay. We also found housekeeping service to be inconsistent. For the amount of money we spent on the room, I feel their staff was unprofessional and had zero consideration regarding our comfort and lack of quality sleep. I’ve worked in property management Class A buildings for 27 years and our tenants and guests were our bread and butter. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again….and with that said, the hotel could care less about losing us as future guests. Also, in Grande Vista restaurant (within hotel), we witnessed 2 waitresses running hard to take care of guests. Our waitress was a very nice older lady. I mentioned to her that I noticed she was running around, trying to take care of guests. She said please mention this in review because they’re understaffed and overworked. Emerald Grande get it together…without employees and guests you don’t have a business!!!!!!"
