"Irene and Russell are amazing hosts who ensured our 3-night stay at Glencoe B & B was unforgettable. Our rooms were beautifully furnished and very comfortable. In our daughters' room, Russ split the bed into two singles. Each room is heated and has an ensuite stocked with quality towels and toiletries, and the living and dining areas have wood fires which was very appreciated as the temperatures dropped. We enjoyed sitting by the fire (with Howard the cat ^-^) playing games and reading books each evening enjoying a very impressive cheese platter created by Russ. Breakfast was amazing - fresh croissants, fresh fruits and cooked breakfast...made to order and of the highest quality. As we were visiting NW Tasmania for the first time, Russell gave us detailed itineraries and suggestions for each of our day trips including where to dine. This was invaluable and made our days out so much easier. Irene took us on a tour of the farm, and we had the pleasure of handfeeding the highland cows and meeting the newborn lambs! The gardens are beautiful - our girls enjoyed walking around meeting the free-range hens and ducks each afternoon. Irene and Russ are both very warm and hard-working people who go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We enjoyed their company very much and would definitely stay again. "

"We were so looking forward to staying in a tiny house as we live off grid ourselves and were interested to see how others do it. Unfortunately we were disappointed to say the least. We stayed at Colonial Blue. The exterior of the tiny house looked quite run down and the cottage garden was very overgrown and unkempt. We were aware that the bathroom was in a separate tiny house but didn't realise that you had to go down several stairs, along a gravel path and then up more stairs to the bathroom. Made night time trips to the loo awkward to say the least. There was also quite an odour coming from the loo. We are used to composting toilets and the ones we use do not smell!! The bathroom itself was lovely but no bathrobes as advertised on the website. Disappointed that the bed wasn't in the loft area as that would have given more room inside. Also a microwave would be a nice addition for heating up takeaways or prepared food. Kitchen was well stocked but no chopping board! The outside furniture was not sturdy and we had to be careful sitting on the chairs as they felt like they were going to give way at any moment. All in all we had a very disappointing experience considering all the wonderful reviews I read before I booked. For what was offered I felt it was overpriced."

"Moja żona i ja mieliśmy wspaniały czas na Silver Ridge Retreat. Była to świetna baza dla atrakcji na północny zachód Tasmania, w tym na górze Cradle. Było też wiele do zrobienia na nieruchomości, w tym dostać się blisko mieszkańca platypus, różne piesze lasy i opuszczona kopalnia srebra. Kabiny były bardzo wygodne i nic nie było zbyt wiele kłopotów dla gospodarzy."

Jadłem w restauracji i jedzenie było dobre, ale na drugą noc czekałem ponad godzinę na specjalny, aby być wywieziony, a następnie reklama, aby go zwrócić do kuchni, aby być podgrzewany, ponieważ posiłek był zimny i oczywiste, że stał gdzieś czekając Biedni pracownicy byli bardzo zajęci i zawstydzeni. "Beautiful. My favourite stay in Tasmania. Restful, thoughtful & considerate to guests. Wonderful full sized kitchen to use, comfy lounge area, beach & cliff side views, cozy fireside each night, honesty bar for guests. I stayed hillside for the 2nd time & booked the massage after a long hike, great place to rest, restore & renew. This is one of the best values for money I've stayed, Australia & internationally. It really is a very special, quaint place. Rooms are generous size, you have options e.g. shared bathroom (which doesn't feel like sharing, little considerations for guests make it easy). Penguin walk at night, take a wine or snacks for a walk, wood & lights supplied. Don't miss on your travels to Tasmania."
