Hotele niedaleko Corniche, Ad-Dauha

To jest bardzo miły hotel. Bardzo miły personel i zakwaterowanie. Mój mąż i ja cieszyliśmy się naszym pobytem. Wszystko jest wysokiej jakości, dobra obsługa! Jedzenie jest niesamowite. Śniadanie, kolacja próbowaliśmy je i nigdy nie rozczarują! Wrócimy do tego hotelu nadziei i naprawdę, warto! Do Khai, który zorganizował niespodziankę urodzinową dla mojego męża, dziękuję bardzo! 🩵

It was great! We arrived very early ( before 7:30am ) and never expected our room ( superior room double queen ) to be ready. But indeed the night manager was there to extend a very warm welcome and served us drinks and damp towels to freshen up , then proposed to show us another room if we were interested so we had a choice. So he brought us to view both---the one we originally booked and a one bedroom apartment in another building that he thought we might want to see. We found the latter more spacious and brighter and the affable manager immediately offered us a complimentary upgrade even before we made our decision. So we eventually went for the apartment and within minutes all our suitcases were brought up. The nice apartment has a living room cum a dining area , and a small balcony. There is an open kitchen with complimentary snacks and drinks in the fridge, plus assorted tea sachets and coffee capsules. Fresh bottled water replenished daily and it were the little things they put after housekeeping left that made the stay extra comfy e.g. the little book mark placed on one of our books, or extra velcro ties for our cables and chargers casually lying around the desk. The main bathroom is spacious with all the toiletries daily replenished while there is a separate toilet at one end. In the living room there is a nook with a desk and stationery, plus all the cables and cords for any type of phones and gadgets. We never had to ask for iron and ironing board because they were already provided, placed inside the wardrobe. The safe was not functioning properly ---failed to lock when we first checked in, but soon they sent some technician up and got it fixed the next day. Bedding is starched white , very clean and very white. Air con is at a comfy temperature although it was over 44C when we were there it was never too uncomfortably chilly. Concierge is pleasant and helpful and UBER taxis are convenient. There is a Harrods cafe just down the hotel pathway, a rough 3-4 minutes walk , plus other restaurants, cafes and ice cream parlours in the area. There is a Chinese restaurant that is under MO that boasts the best Chinese cuisine in Doha. The Souq Waqif is within walking distance, but the place only comes alive after 5pm when the sun is less scorching. In the day time hardly a soul is found on the streets. People just flock to malls. There in the souq you can find rows and rows of shops selling herbs and perfumes, clothes and shoes, as well as restaurants, cafes , grocery stores and souvenir shops. MO Doha is in a safe area even after midnight because at night there are security guards stationed at almost all street corners where the streets all link up and lead you back to the hotel. Doha people are friendly and nice , and Doha is a very disciplined and safe place so there is no problem for anyone , or specifically women , to venture out on their own any time of the day or night. MO Doha certainly has top security at every entrance and exit , the hotel is very clean and comfortable albeit the shower could be a bit more powerful. All in all, I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Świetna obsługa, doskonałe pokoje i świetny stosunek jakości do ceny. Chciałbym wrócić w przyszłości.

Obiektywnie rzecz biorąc: 1. Lokalizacja jest doskonała, tuż naprzeciwko targu Waqif, 5 minut spacerem. Wejście do stacji metra również znajduje się 5 minut spacerem. Iglica Fanar znajduje się po przekątnej naprzeciwko skrzyżowania. Muzeum Islamskie jest oddalone o nieco ponad kilometr; można przejść przez targ i szybko dotrzeć na plażę. Taksówka do Muzeum Narodowego kosztuje tylko 8-9 juanów. 2. Po zameldowaniu nie wiem, czy to dlatego, że miałam ze sobą dziecko, czy z jakiegoś innego powodu, być może po to, aby nie przeszkadzać innym gościom? (Może nie z powodu dziecka, bo pewnego dnia poszłam na złe piętro, a piętro było dość głośne). Powiedzieli, że nie mogli znaleźć pokoju dwuosobowego i dali mi bardzo odległy pokój z dwoma pojedynczymi łóżkami, naprzeciwko windy. Dodali łóżeczko dziecięce za darmo. Powiedzieli, że winda może szybko zawieźć cię na basen, który jest na pierwszym piętrze, ale ta winda była zamknięta na pierwszym piętrze… 3. Łazienka w pokoju śmierdziała okropnie, jak ścieki. Przyjechałem późno i zapytałem, czy są jakieś inne wolne pokoje na następny dzień. Personel przyniósł odświeżacz powietrza i go spryskał, co było absurdalne. To było bezużyteczne. Na szczęście zostałem tylko trzy noce, a wentylator wyciągowy działał, więc sytuacja była ledwie akceptowalna. 4. Morska bryza była zbyt silna i moje dziecko dostało gorączki. Zapytaliśmy restaurację, czy mają małe pojemniki na leki przeciwgorączkowe do zabrania na pokład samolotu, a kierownik restauracji pilnie pomógł nam rozwiązać problem. 5. Kiedy jechaliśmy taksówką na lotnisko, portier w hotelu Fairmont Dubai bardzo uprzejmie pomógł nam wezwać samochód, który zmieściłby dwie duże walizki, a nawet uprzejmie zasugerował, żebyśmy nie marnowali pieniędzy na wzywanie większego samochodu, ponieważ był w sam raz. Ponieważ byli tak proaktywni w pomaganiu nam w wezwaniu samochodu, uznaliśmy, że to nie ma znaczenia i wezwaliśmy go. Jednak samochód nie naliczył taksometru; okazało się, że cena za przejazd wynosiła 70, czyli co najmniej 20 więcej niż cena podobnego Ubera. Przeliczając na juany, to niewiele, ale spieszyliśmy się, więc to tolerowaliśmy. Hotel powinien jednak wyjaśnić, jaki był pierwotny cel tej usługi. Jeśli jest to źródło dochodu, powinien podać standardowy cennik, z którego klienci mogliby wybierać. Jeśli jest to usługa mająca na celu ułatwienie życia klientom, mogliby się czegoś nauczyć od innych hoteli. Z drugiej strony, nie jestem pewien, czy ta różnica w cenie zostanie wliczona do dochodu hotelu, czy do napiwku dla portiera. Mogę tylko stwierdzić jeden fakt: ostatecznie dałem napiwek młodemu portierowi w Dubaju, aby podziękować mu za pomocne rady. Obsługa jest na pierwszym miejscu, a Ty naturalnie zbierzesz tego owoce. Nie chodzi o zacieranie granic i pozostawianie klientów z poczuciem oszukania nawet po wyjściu. Więc, dokądkolwiek jedziesz z hotelu, po prostu skorzystaj z Ubera; w Dosze jest tani.

Really loved the hotel - best points include: - Range of restaurants - Two pools! - Sports bar - Room service - Spa - Cafe Quieter location but still really quick to be able to get around all of Doha and Qatar

Right after our arrival to this hotel we were expecting multiple problems. Customer manager was trying to do her best to make our mood better with complimentary gestures, and after I complained I saw the improvement but still this hotel needs proper stuff training and communication improvements. Neither one day I received any room amenities (teeth brush, vanity kit etc) , for every single and simple thing you gotta ask. And then it’s very slow to execute things. Food at main restaurant fresh but tasteless, we tried one of alacart restaurant on lobby floor but again food was missing flavors. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone who use to stay in five star hotels , because you will feel exhausted to communicate about your needs. That’s a pitty, because property is beautiful, beach is nice, workers are postive and have a smiley face. Just whole lack of management doesn’t make holidays here enjoyable

A beautiful hotel but falls short of 5 star service. The service received was pretty inconsistent as some members of staff and certain situations were dealt with to a top standard but the hotel fell short in other areas. The poolside was not staffed so on our 2 days that we spent there (would have spent more but it was boring), there was nothing provided to eat or drink. Spending time by the pool is a big part of my holiday so this was really disappointing. When I enquired with a staff member, I was told it is un-manned due to a lack of guests using the pool. This wasnt an acceptable reason. The other situation I had was when I asked if I could change money using my contactless card (we forgot our bank cards!) - 2 members of staff said it is possible then when I went to change the money, the manager(Nicole) came and advised that it actually isnt possible. Very unprofessional. Check-in was really nice and Kartik was friendly and helpful. The gentleman at the door was very, very helpful in all matters and 2 members of staff at Alnafourah were also very helpful and friendly. We watched football at Alnafourah and we were treated well and nicely accommodated. Another incident occured when we came back to our room following a visit to the pool and having had our room made up, there were no towels! I had to call twice to housekeeping to advise them as they took so long to respond then when a member from housekeeping arrived, he told me the towels will take an hour to arrive! Never experienced something like this at a 5 star hotel. I had to go down to reception to resolve the situation and I will say that Nicole did sort it out immediately, the housekeeping manager visited our room to apologise and provided a complimentary fruit bowl. Nicole also offered a wonderful gesture by giving us complimentary entrance to a beautiful 'brunch by the pool' evening dinner. This was a lovely gesture as the food on offer was delightful. The gesture was very much appreciated. The location of the hotel isnt the best as there isnt too much to do in the area but taxis are so easy to get, this isnt too much of an issue. Overall, a really nice hotel but in my opinion, falls short of 5 star standard but does provide good value for the price. Nice but I wouldn't stay here again. Overall service needs improvement.

We the SINGH family from the UK (consisting of me and my wife, along with 2 adult sons) stayed at Double Tree by Hilton Al Sadd Hotel in Doha, for 4 nights, during a recent multi country trip family holiday, and truly enjoyed the experience. The front security officers (eg. Moses, Jacob) were always happy, respectful and courteous in doing their jobs. The front desk staff (including Houssem, Krishna, Job, to name a few), were welcoming, efficient and helpful, and always called out or waved, and stopped for friendly chat. It was a great pleasure to actually meet with Renata who had been very proactive in answering all of my email questions prior to our booking with the hotel and assuring me that our pure vegetarian food requirements (ie. No meat, fish or eggs or dishes containing any of these items) for breakfast items would be fully met by the restaurant team. The restaurant team were absolutely fantastic. Mitzie welcomed us every morning into the restaurant for breakfast and always checked to ensure everything was ok, etc. Rony especially took care of all our dietary needs and always went above and beyond his role, and surprised us with at least one new item each morning, such as special healthy fruit power-shot or fruit juice or special dishes made to order and served us tea the way we like it. Chef’s Karan and Yousef made time to come and speak with us and offer other dishes. Basanta, Rhea and Nisha also looked after us very well and always stopped to offer advice on places to visit etc and discuss our plans for the day. Housekeeping staff (including Saibu, Jamuna, Horace, Sanjeev) were amazing and super friendly, and checked if we needed anything extra. Horace and Sanjeev surprised us several times with amazing art work of a lotus flower and pair of swans made from rolled towels - absolutely brilliant! So many special memories of this hotel and staff members, that we will treasure for a long time, and also captured on camera. A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE (I AM SURE I HAVE MISSED MANY NAMES), FOR MAKING OUR STAY SO AMAZING AND MEMORABLE. Another positive is that the hotel is very conveniently located for transport modes - taxi and metro station, and local shopping facilities and restaurants. We found a fabulous pure vegetarian Indian restaurant called Bhojan as well as a Tofu House only one street away - 5 minutes walk from the hotel.. So definitely 5 stars plus for this hotel, staff and its convenient location.

Branding of Ramada did not live up to our standard. The miscomm between the night and morning shift staff need lots of work!! Being told you can check-in early at 2 pm(upon arrival at the hotel at 8 am) and only to wait another 30 minutes for the room at 2.30 pm, is HIGHLY unacceptable! And other guests who were waiting at the couch got to their rooms before us. Not an experiece you would want after a red-eye flight. There are other hotels nearby who accommodate guests at least before 1 pm if they’re informed of their flight details. The security staff,on the other hand, were eveready to assist us! Rooms are just okay.. Dated and needs more work done. Would I stay here again? Sadly not.. Hope you guys improve on communication. It’s part of good service!

We stayed at the Hotel for two weeks and my friend and I would highly recommend it. The location is perfect, close to everything we needed, and the staff were consistently welcoming and helpful. Every query we had was dealt with quickly and efficiently. A special mention goes to Aziz at reception, who showed outstanding professionalism throughout our stay. We’re truly grateful for his assistance and warm approach. Overall, a wonderful experience — we would happily return.
