"A well situated b and b close to the shops and railway. It takes about 20 min to walk to the shops and 35 min to/from the port. The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortably but a bit small if your use to a king/superking. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to your needs/preferences each morning and there was always a warm welcome. There are a lot of stairs to your room but there is a small lift that goes to all floors - handy."

"You can also walk to the Isle of Man TT Race Grandstand. It's on a bit of a hill, so if you stayed in a room facing the sea you could get a beautiful view of the ocean. The bus stop is only 100m away. The location is very good, though I did feel there were some maintenance issues, such as the kettle being dirty. Overall I was very satisfied and thought it was good."

"Bardzo wygodna baza dla naszej podróży do IOM, która dobrze pasowała do naszego budżetu. Nie potrzebowaliśmy hotelu 5*, chcieliśmy gdzieś czystego i wygodnego spać, co dokładnie mamy. Pokoje były czyszczone codziennie, z świeżymi ręcznikiami, jeśli to konieczne. Dostaliśmy udogodnienia do robienia herbaty i kawy. Apartament en był świetny, mnóstwo gorącej wody, mydła i żelu prysznicowego. Łóżko było bardzo wygodne i śniadanie było super. Peter nie mógł zrobić więcej dla nas, idealny host. Melrose znajduje się w centrum, blisko restauracji i promenade, chociaż jest na bardzo gorzkim wzgórzu, więc był to również utrzymanie wakacji 😀. Są schody, aby wspiąć się do sypialni i nie ma windy, więc mniej umiejętności ludzie mogą znaleźć to trudne."

"One again, we've enjoyed a wonderful stay at Bed and Blueberry. This was our ninth or tenth stay with Cindy and that should say it all - she is just the perfect host, friendly and welcoming. As always, the accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The layout of the house has been changed a little since our last visit and can now be arranged as two 5-bed family apartments, one on each floor - a really worthwhile improvement. There's a small, but well-equipped kitchen on each floor, which we found completely up to our needs. The house is located in a quiet side street, shielded from noise and traffic, but just a minute or two on foot from the promenade and the tram and bus stops. We couldn't wish for a nicer place to stay and are already making plans for next year!"

"Great location and in close proximity to The Strand - Douglas' shopping area. The Hotel was clean and the room was very comfortable. Our room was well supplied with basic kitchen amenities for preparing basic meals. Laundry and fitness facilities were more than sufficient in meeting our needs. We cannot thank Katya for all of her help in getting us settled and for making our stay comfortable including having basic grocery staples were provided for our arrival to get us started. Katya provided information on convenient parking, ideas on where to grocery shop, restaurant choices etc. Also, Katya was very responsive to our questions and/or requests. The Town House had a family atmosphere though we rarely saw the other guests - quiet. Well maintained and clean - thank you to the maintenance and housekeeping team for immediately addressing any of our questions."

The family that own the hotel are so friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived (which was around midnight due to us getting the late ferry over from Liverpool). The location of the hotel is great and it’s conveniently located next to a great pub. I would absolutely stay here again and will be recommending here to everyone. Thanks for a wonderful stay"

"Lovely traditional Bed and Breakfast family run guesthouse in a historical period building. The staff are very friendly and a choice of freshly cooked breakfast alongwith cereals, tea and coffee is offered and is very good. Wifi works very well and the beds are very comfortable. The location is good and is quiet at night with hardly any noise. Rooms are cleaned daily. The Guesthouse also has its own bar with food available. The addition of water (dispenser) to the breakfast offering would be welcome in addition to juices."
