"While the location is great (easily walkable from the train station) the service and the rooms are not! The personal at check-in was not unfriendly but they did not speak a single word unless it was absolutely necessary. They handed me a document with the usual guest information to fill in missing items (OK) but it contains a whole bunch of legalese amd additional terms which is void in Germany. When I asked about mit they claimed that I can either sign or leave without a refund. Ridiculous! The room was tiny, it had absolutely no resemblance to the rooms (of the same category) displayed on the website and booking portals. The floor was dirty, the table was dirty (sawdust!) and later at night we found more dirt on the bed below the decorative blanket. The wifi is borderline unusable and on top of that there is barely any cellphone reception in the room we got which meant that I actually had to go into the hallway to receive messages. The TV in them room was not much larger than my laptops screen and was not plugged into the power socket. Will definitely NOT be a guest there ever again. Luckily, Düren has many other hotel options available."

"The hospitality, helpfulness and service were just good. There was always someone to talk to. The food was very good and the facilities in the seminar room were also top notch. The rooms were also good. As I was the organizer of the seminar, I can speak for everyone, as this was reflected back to me."
