"We were greeted by lovely people who seem to run the bar next door also , room was clean and tidy and bed was comfy ,we were only on a flying visit taking a tour of Ashdown forest ,I would stay here again next time I would probably make sure the room had a bath lot of walking needed a good soak but very local to the town and restaurants ,shops etc"

"Very well organised place with charming period features throughout. Easy to reach twin centre and very affordable for a night’s stay too. Only issue we had was the fact the owner forgot to turn the switch on for the shower water, resulting in delayed hot water. Maybe could do with a reminder?"

"Pracownicy recepcji pomagali, przeniósł nas do pokoju z kąpielą, jak żądane.Pokój był duży, z maszyną do kawy, ale trochę kurzu, wolałby regularny telewizor nie Internet, i obudził się z hałasu poza pokój rano. Łóżko było twarde, a dwa pojedynki dołączyły do siebie nie jest to wygodne. Żadne z nas niestety dobrze spało. Bezpłatne parking było dobre. Chciałabym spróbować basen i gorącą wannę i siłownię, ale tylko jedną noc i przebiegł. Przydatne na podróż do lotniska w Gatwick. Wartość za pieniądze."

"Lovely room and bathroom with a nice big bath. The only downside was how uncomfortable the mattress was. And definitely needs to be decorated. It could be amazing with the right colours! Especially get rid of that yellow in the hall 🫣. But overall, lovely stay. Would stay again. Service from downstairs was great too. "

"We arrived Friday afternoon for a two night stay, firstly we was pleased to have onsite parking and not have to park on the street, that’s a big plus factor for us. Owner wasn’t present upon checking in which was fine for us, they left special instructions for us via email to enter to obtain the key and entered into the warm house stress free. The Room was lovely and clean, heating was on, it didn’t take too long to warm the large room. Lovely chocolates left on towels and an informative booklet packed with plenty of information on the local area, amenities and places to visit. A perfectly situated stay to branch off and visit local towns as we did. We Would happily recommend this place and we’d stay definitely here again. Our room was well priced and equipped with everything you’d need especially if you’d forgotten something. We didn’t opt in for breakfast however it’s a nice bonus if you get there and choose to opt in and book the breakfast. (A good choice on the menu) Thanks for a smooth stay."
