Hotele w: Merchiston, Edynburg

This is the noisiest hotel among the more than 50 hotels I have stayed in this year. When I checked in, I specifically asked the staff to give me a quiet room because I didn't sleep well, and they promised me that they could. I don't know why they arranged the worst room for me. The bedside made a loud noise from around 12 o'clock in the evening until 7:30 the next morning. I couldn't sleep all night!

We really enjoyed time in Menzes Guest House. Early check -in was possible. Room was nice and cozy. Comunication with owner was great. We recommend it.

I had a solid stay here. The room was notably clean and the location was perfect—very central and close to everything I needed. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which made the room a bit warm. However, they did provide a desk fan which helped significantly. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for budget travellers who want a reliable, no-frills base in a great location. I’d definitely stay again.”

特別棒的一次體驗,酒店地理位置和無敵景色讓我們在愛丁堡的這一天很開心。從酒店到卡爾頓山五分鐘路程，去老城和彩虹街，皇家一英里都很方便。酒店本身就是起一座文物，我你也去552房間門口看了，特意刷成了紫色的門很漂亮，JK羅琳在這裏鬧中取靜的完成了第七部作品。

Location is 5 to 10 minutes walk from Waverly train station. Just turn RIGHT from the MAIN STREET. Staff was helpful in arranging a cab for us to airport costing only £28 for 2 of us. IF we took the tram, our costing would be £15, but you needed to drag your luggage 🧳 and if raining 🌧 will be tough. The washing machine works well and come with ironing facilities. There's a iron with ironing board. Me managed to washed and iron all my clothes after 6 nights before flying off to Bergen. I will definitely recommend to all my friends.

Location is absolutely great, the hotel is right next to st.james quarter shopping center and across Edinburgh waverly station. By 5-15 minutes walk you can access many of the tourist which is very convenience. Also the lobby is well decorated and has a great view of old town. Rooms were clean and sizing is also OK for my family.

An exceptionally wonderful hotel. Great location with walking distance to Waverly Railway Station (i.e. the main/central railway station), Highland and Loch Ness tour buses, city sightseeing buses, the majority of the sightseeings in Edinburgh, St James Quarter (i.e. a nice shopping center), many stores, shops, restaurants, cafes etc. Nice, clean and quiet room with comfortable beds, with iron and ironing board. Nice gym, swimming pool and sauna on the third floor. Nice (breakfast) restaurant and a bar, nice breakfast, great staff everywhere, fast and nice check-in and check-out. We highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

The hotel was located on the fifth floor ( shopping mall) and takes a while to get to from the train station. However, the room was spacious and cozy, equipped with everything from an inducting stove to a washing machine. The view was a delight as well, the entire old town of Edinburg cojld be seen from the hotel room.
