"Fantastic Family Stay – Even Better Than We Remembered! We spent 5 wonderful nights at Iririki Island Resort and absolutely loved our time there. Although we went into town for lunch and dinner a few times, we mostly stayed on the island and soaked in the beautiful surroundings. The kayaking and snorkeling were a highlight, especially thanks to Etella and Teraa—these two went above and beyond to look after our family and made the experience memorable. The ocean view villa was spacious, airy, and perfect for watching the fish swim right by our deck. The breakfast buffet was excellent and included halal chicken options, which we really appreciated. The staff catered to our dietary needs and made sure alcohol was left out, which meant we could enjoy every meal without worry. Only downside: they didn’t accept Amex and charged a 3% surcharge on Visa/MasterCard, which, combined with international bank fees, added up. Although we had a discount from Trip.com, we couldn’t really take advantage of it due to these charges. Next time, we’ll prepay online instead of using the “pay at hotel” option. This was our second visit to Port Vila after 13 years, and both the city and Iririki were just as magical as we remembered. A special shoutout to Taste of India in town—absolutely fantastic food! Highly recommended for families, couples, and anyone looking to unwind in paradise."

"The environment and scenery were beautiful, the villa was very comfortable, the food was exquisite, and the water in front of the house had many clownfish for snorkeling. The owners, a husband and wife, were very welcoming and helped us arrange a driver to take us to the airport and introduced us to the snorkeling animals."

"Staff were lovely. The resort is run down and nothing like what was advertised. No TVs worked, no bathrobes, no beach, not sound proof, spa was unusable, toiletries, bottled water, tea and coffee was not restocked, bins not emptied, ant trails and cockroaches, loud music and yelling from across the lagoon, holes in walls with wires hanging out, broken or missing light bulbs and major plumbing problems. The toilet backed up through the shower drain, no maintenance man available. Two days later our villa was flooded with raw sewage. Belongings that were not soak in sewage smelt like sewage. Chinese man, Alex, was just going to mop the floors. We were eventually moved, twice, first villa had cockroaches in the fridge and same plumbing problems, second move was to a mould apartment with an unusable shower. We slept in the clothes we were wearing as our belongings were scattered between three villas and the resort laundry. Management, Annie, was unsympathetic and unhelpful and we were offered a free meal. Our belongings were washed and given a full refund after constant complaining. The swipe cards also opened other apartments. Four rooms was the most we seen occupied at any one time. Why can this resort advertise what they are not offering? Going through previous reviews it has been like this for quiet awhile. Shame on the booking agents."

"The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from the city center and is not very large. It has its own beach and small pier. Guests can use canoes and SUPs for free; masks need to be rented. It's recommended to rent a car. The hotel charges 7000 VAT for a one-way trip to the city center, and 30,000 VAT for a full day's use with a driver. They don't give room keys; they say it's only for staff and guests, so there's nothing to worry about. Even our room door was difficult to close properly, so we just left it open. The food at the hotel wasn't very good. Breakfast was okay, but the penne pasta we ordered for lunch was extremely salty, and the fish burger for dinner had a bread as hard as a baguette. The pizza was okay, and the fries were good. The scenery is beautiful. We stayed for four nights, but lunch and dinner were the most inconvenient."

"I travelled to Port Vila as part of a team of 4 volunteers - we all volunteer for Taskforce Kiwi and were travelling on to Ambrym Island to carry our damage assessments after Cyclone Lola. We stayed twice at Kaiviti Motel - and the owners and staff were wonderful - very accommodating and friendly. We didn't have a car but everything is in walking distance - the location is perfect. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, and found it to be very clean and suited us well. We were either working or in the pool."

Ale to, co naprawdę uczyniło nasz pobyt wyjątkowy, to sposób, w jaki kurort jest połączony z lokalną kulturą i wsi. Dowiedzieliśmy się kilku pracowników dość dobrze i jesteśmy wdzięczni na dole naszych serc za ich ciepło, hojność i dobroć. Doceniamy również, że kurort jest całkowicie off-grid i że jak najwięcej produktów jest źródłem lokalnym. Jedzenie było świeże i smaczne, a koktajle są również bardzo dobre. Jedno słowo ostrożności jednak: jeśli spodziewasz się 5-star, piękne ośrodek z wszystkimi mod oszustwa na tap, to nie jest to! To jest odległa lokalizacja i to jest to, co sprawia, że jest tak wyjątkowa. Przyjdź jak jesteś i weź rzeczy, jak one przyjdą i będziesz miał świetny czas."

W pełni samodzielne z wielkimi restauracjami w 10/15 minut. Myślimy, że to była dobra wartość za pieniądze. Sugeruje wynajęcie samochodu."

"We just enjoyed 4 nights in an Oceanfront Bungalow (2bed and 2bath) for our 20th anniversary. The highlight of Island Magic Resort is the absolutely wonderful Managers (Caroline and Damo) and all of the staff. They’re all so very welcoming and make sure your stay is perfect. The rooms were great and spacious. Ours was 2 large bedrooms with ensuites, full kitchen with microwave/stove, lounge, dining, laundry and outdoor deck. Another highlight of the resort is the jetty with amazing coral reef, lots of tropical fish which was perfect for snorkeling every morning and evening. The resort is about 20mins drive from the city/airport because of the pot holes that slow you down. If you need transport be sure to arrange it with the resort because Paul Lota the local guy was the best!! Next time we’re in Port Vila we’ll definitely stay here again."
